@maiyannah Compared to something like Factorio, Rimworld is barely functional, but compared to a lot of other "Early Access" titles, it's not terrible.

One way you can have a surprising amount of fun with it is if you use the scenario editor and developer mode to set up a Fallout style vault scenario. Give them a pre-built vault and decent starting gear, but no tech or manufacturing facilities to replace stuff as it gets used up, and try to establish a functional, self sufficient colony from there.

@maiyannah I have the opposite problem. My brawlers won't equip a firearm, but then they won't actually melee anyone, so they just stand there and get shot unless I draft them and order them into the panic room.

@maiyannah Amazing. I've had them all burn to death before, but that was due to a poorly concieved experiment in indoor farming gone badly wrong. They kept running into the burning structure to try and rescue eachother. At that point I just reverted to an autosave and aborted the experiment.

@maiyannah I've been playing it a bunch recently and I haven't had a problem with the AI being too dumb yet. The closest I've come is accidentally cooking a prisoner to death. That said, it took forever to get the ludicrously unintuitive behavioural priority system set up in such a way to keep them from starving to death whilst chopping down trees.
