@pandathehedgehog To me, the idea of creating a new female protag seems *more* feminist than "We'll just flip the gender of a character we have now to get them to shut up". It seems as though having a new PC with new lore is more empowering than letting the company get away with drawing kiwi on a character they already have.

@pandathehedgehog I think combining the "Not terrible" and "Play as Zelda" aspects might be too challenging for the design team. Better to start fresh. Make Linkle Zeldas rambunctious kid or something.

Why "Link should be a girl" anyway? Why not "Can you make a Zelda game with a female protagonist?" Linkle, stupid name aside, exists now. Why not demand a game about her kicking ass with her crossbows and time travel or whatever it is she does?
