  1. @nerthos @scribus Today I had a hot dog! Large, with ketchup. Thank you for reading this

    1. @tiffany Good. I ended up eating all 6 yesterday and didn't eat anything else until today.

      1. @nerthos That's so many dogs, man

        1. @tiffany I eat a lot. Funnily enough I also don't gain weight. I know many people would be morbidly obese if they ate as much as I do.

          1. @nerthos Despite being a fat piece of apple I'm pretty good at maintaining my weight. When I went to America I put on a heck of a lot of pounds but I lost it all in a couple of months. Starting today I'm watching my calories a lot more so I'm hoping to lose a lot of weight and then keep it down

            1. @tiffany I'm always at around 80kg and that's eating whatever I want and not exercising past what work I do.

              1. @nerthos I think I'm like 90kg? I pretty much never exercise but my work is pretty intense at times so I often come home aching which makes me feel like I'm doing well at least

                1. @tiffany How tall are you? because 90kg can be decent or a bit overweight depending on your height.

                  1. @nerthos I'm like 6 foot, 6'1. I've been told my weight is fairly average but I'm pudgy everywhere so I don't agree with them

                    1. @tiffany Oh, yeah, you're about the same height as me, so you're some 8-10kg above what you should be. A good rule is about a kg for each cm over a meter. Shouldn't be hard to lose that weight with some exercise and light diet though. 90kg is fine if you have quite a bit of muscle, but if you don't exercise there's no way that's muscle.

                      1. @nerthos Yeah it's all flab lmao. I'm gonna diet and hopefully do more work hours so by my calculations I'll be at an ideal weight six months or so from now

                        1. @tiffany Do a diet and hit the gym for 30 minutes or an hour each day before/after work and you'll be fine. Diet with no proper exercise schedule is bad.

                          1. @nerthos I shall keep this in mind

                            1. @tiffany If you start a diet and exercise you'll lose weight while keeping about the same physical capability, which will make you feel lighter as you'll be hauling a few less kg with the same strength. If you just diet, you'll lose weight but you'll also lose a bunch of muscle tissue and you'll be considerably weaker. Like middle aged women who obsess over calories and can't lift a chair after.

                              1. @nerthos @tiffany Bottom line is go to a gym and talk to one of the trainers there to set up an schedule as they'll be able to tell you what the calory intake and type of food, as well as exercise schedule is best for getting there. It's easy to screw up if you don't know what you're doing, but hard to fail when you do know.

                                1. @nerthos I honestly have been meaning to start going to the gym so this is good motivation actually

                                  1. @tiffany You can fit it in your schedule without issue I'm sure, since you won't be going for bodybuilding or anything which means it won't take a lot of your time or attention. After you're at the weight you want you can either keep at it or switch to some sport you enjoy.

Thursday, 15-Sep-16 23:41:36 UTC from web
                                    1. @nerthos Yeah, time is not an issue. It's mainly motivation so I wanna convince a friend or two to do it with me so it's more enjoyable and stuff (not that I don't want to take it seriously tho)

                              2. @nerthos @tiffany Exercise is more important than diet, though both can be useful.  I eat a 100% bullFluffle Puff crap diet, because I'm poor as FrankerZ, but because I exercise well and I do watch my intake to a reasonable degree (not eating more than I need to, and other generalities), I keep within a reasonable weight - which, I might add, is difficult to do at my height.  I'm Fluffle Puffin' tiny.
