OK.... Tears of the Kingdom... What does "tears" refer to? Is it the liquid coming out of the eyes (for example while crying) or is it the edge of two pieces of a material/object that has been ripped apart (for example tearing a piece of paper in two pieces)?

@adiwan if you’ve played Twilight Princess, it appears (though unconfirmed, I’m not far into the game yet) to be the same context as the tears of light from that game, or the sacred tears from Skyward Sword.

@scribus Good lord I wish, the previous game indirectly mentioned the events of Twilight Princess exactly one time and that seems to be the only acknowledgment Nintendo is willing to give that game.
