@mythbuster Need I remind you of a certain massacre?

@abigpony Meh. Too preoccupied with other stuff to worry about grammar.
-
@mythbuster NO EXCUSE!
-
@abigpony O_O
-
@mythbuster @enchiladatra That didn't have to do with anything! http://ur1.ca/afeuo
-
@abigpony What is you yell about again? I'm not see why grammer are such an big issue.

@mythbuster You have plenty of brainpower available to worry about the reputation of cartoon ponies. #justsayin

@redenchilada I realize the masses are uneducated in the way of grammar, but the "there/their/they're" issue annoys me to no extent.
-
@scribus Hmm.. True, true.
-
@abigpony At least it's not as bad as your/you're. shudder
-
@abigpony Also "your" and "you're".
-
@redenchilada "Ur." #rage D:<

@redenchilada what are other ones that are easily mistaken and annoying as all hell?
-
@abigpony to/too/two?
-
@redenchilada I've never seen someone confuse two with those other too.

@abigpony "Have" and "of," evidently. Because people keep saying "should of" when they should have said "should have." Or "should've," which really A) demonstrates that it needs to be "have" to contract like that and B) helps explain why people think it's "of," since a "'ve" sounds quite like "of."
-
@abigpony Using too in place of to isn't really common, but I see stuff like "to important" all the time.
-
@scribus I'd like a slice have cake, please. With a bit have ice cream on the side.
-
@scribus I don't hear/see that alot, but it seems infuriating.
-
@redenchilada I get spammers addressing emails to me with "Too [my email]," all the time.
-
@scribus That irritates me so much, but not as bad as "I could care less". NO YOU COULDN'T.
-
@thelastgherkin OH DON'T EVEN!! D:<
-
@redenchilada Do you of any chocolate sauce?
-
@thelastgherkin Well to be fair, "I could care less" is generally used in places where you generally don't care in the form of brushing it off as opposed to being against caring for it.
-
@abigpony It is used interchangeably with "I couldn't care less", in the same context, and with the same meaning, even though it means the exact opposite.
-
@thelastgherkin I of lots have chocolate sauce, dude.
-
@thelastgherkin I try not to use them in extreme conditions. Like if I spelled something wrong, I could care less because I still recognize my mistake, I just don't care that it happened.
-
@abigpony Now let's spread this clarification to the rest of the internet in the interests of correct phrasing.
