    1. @mrmattimation Nobody gets shot here

      1. @scoot I'll take that as a "yes".

    2. @mrmattimation You mean "Extant" gun control laws. By what standard would you consider them to be working? Nobody shoots anyone else, but it hasn't solved all crime forever

      1. @ceruleanspark My question was referring specifically to gun crimes.

        1. @mrmattimation Practically nonexistent.

      2. @ceruleanspark But if you outlaw guns then only bad guys will have guns, and the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun! #

        1. @scribus Guns aren't illegal. You just need a license, which requires you actually have cause to own one, but just sport shooting is sufficient cause. Groundskeepers, hunters, farmers, etc.

    3. @vt3c There are background checks in place. Unfortunately, not a lot of them are very effective. Back in 2008, some college kid bought a couple of Glocks and shot up Virginia Tech just down the road. He was medically diagnosed with several mental disorders, and he was still legally sold two guns.

    4. @vt3c I agree with some of what this guy says. Some of it.
