  1. "How can you tell if something is 60 FPS or not ?" someone asked, probably sarcastically. So I told him about my tongue, and how I taste stuff, and how I can tell if my sandwich is with or without butter, because smooth and whatnot. And how 60 FPS is kinda like butterysmooth for your eyes... Too salty ?

  2. @colfax In all fairness, why is the GOP implode other than each individual acting like [name of candidate]-fanboy ?

  3. @colfax It is kinda like Dutch politics, only with just 2 sides instead of 18. Which makes the popcorn so much more sweet, or salty.

  4. @adiwan It was a joke regarding having to invent new words ( which will anways happen anyway ) due to me not knowing exactly what the word is when someone calls me a Weichei. Or laughs at me due to Schadenfreude.

  5. @colfax I was more thinking along the lines of where he was trying to get Trump's goat over and over again to defeat him at his own game of showmanship but... dammit guy.

  7. @awl Nono, I meant "opposite spectrum to insults". Not sure if that makes much sense on second thought.

  8. @adiwan Please do not plead to make the German dictionary even larger. :)

    But yes, I agree.

  9. @colfax I should really go watch the latest GOP debate and what they are all about. If it is only half as interesting as the last Democratic debate ( which could have been titled "the roast of hillary" IMHO ) it should be great. And usually GOP debates are with a LOT more awesome insulty-rhetoric. Right now I know a lot about Trump, Cruz wants to go see if sand glows if it becomes hot enough and uses fancy words like "carpetbomb the middle east"... and Kasich... ... I honestly had to look up how to spell that name and know nearly nothing of him.

Will I be wasting my time as an European ? Probably yes, but the whole puppet-show surrounding "America's next top model president" is amusing to me.

  10. @adiwan Insults can be feelings. right ? I mean it works with "lucky" in the opposite spectrum. Same with "happy", although that one you'd probably word differently.

  11. @colfax But... vending machines do not even have a face. Though if it had one I guess you wanted to punch it, soo, yes ? I kinda hope you can apply that word to "things" though ^^

  12. @scribus I think I am going to go with "Arschgeige verkaufsautomat". But I am pretty sure that @adiwan might point out to me soon enough that Arschgeige is a really sublocal insult and usually only to indicate people. ( people that Potato Knishes up the only thing they were supposed to do (at all)/well )

  14. @adiwan @nerthos I went with some liquid rubber ( rubber repair ) from Bison since that is what I could get locally, if it does not perform admirably I will deff look into getting some "Fixogum" :) ... All I know right now is that my hands feel like they are made out of rubber, Pretty sure you can imagine what happened here.

  15. Does anyone know that glue you sometimes find in magazines to hold in a flier or postcard ? Kinda like some snottified rubber. I need a glue that is sort of like that, but tougher. Any idea's ?

  26. Dear computergame, Why is your AI so blatantly stupid ? I know that I am talking to a game released in 2004 but for the sake of everything that is common sense, when I have AI companions who yell "Muzzle-flash ! Get down !" just before/during the start of a firefight, that is cool. But I kinda do not want to hear that when 29 out of 30 gunmen are already in ragdoll heaven. Or whatever the 2004 equivalent is
