  1. @thelastgherkin Ironically that sounded like some sort of Anime setup right before all hell breaks loose and... Idunno, the titans attacked ?

  2. I found a couple of my old schoolbooks, I own "for dummies" books for many of the same topics. So I have been reading. I guess I can now officially recommend "for dummies" books over my college years *sigh*

  4. Me and a fellow Brony were just talking about M.A. Karson for like 30 minutes untill... well... you can probably see what went wrong.

  5. I have been monitoring the GNU social ( alliance ? federation ? ) member front pages and... I really like a few of them and yet feel totally outclassed in others for one reason... I shall lurk more. One thing seems to hold very true though. It all feels way warmer, welcoming, and intelligent when compared to Twitter. But I am not sure if this is such a good thing for them, or such a bad thing for humanity... ... Probably overthinking this...

  6. @redenchilada To me it just looked like some 1's and 0's had a brainfart because the >> part is still accurate.

  7. @colfax Not sure whether to tell you to be safe or give you bonuspoints. How about both ?

  8. @colfax If you survive you'll probably go up a few places in my "people who I considder to be superheroes in a weird way" list. So that is a plus :)

  9. I do not understand this. Why are so many people complaing about unskippable 3 minutes long YouTube video's in my circle of friends and aquaintances ? They all say they have some form of addblock. I just tried to help someone out to remedy that problem, but this particular git only seemed to become annoyed with the whole ordeal, eventually saying dumb things like "Yeah I do not use an OS, I use my BIOS to directly run Firefox on", At which point I said "Well, I just filter my datastream with a 50 cents fine bowlsieve and I do not have that problem" ... Not sure if I should feel bad now.

  12. Well this is the first time I head ESD ( or any form of static electricity ) being referred to as "electrocancer". Although I like it, I probably should not use it recklessly unless when I am around sailors... or maybe sysadmins.

  13. Well... I now know for certain that using satalite-internet suffers from less 524 errors on RDN.net ... I wonder what else I can do on this boat... I'm open for suggestions.

  15. @scribus Oh, I like mead, I tried making both that and moonshine. But in the end I decided it is far easier, and arguably quicker, to just make a good wine. Maybe the safety also has something to do with it, I do not like waiting very long for something that just can go down the sink-hole because I appleed up somehow
