  1. @razzleberry Oh, hmm, yeah, that works. Ohkay, so here is the scoop.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is being advertised with many features, water-cooling being one of them. But to my disappointment when I investigated further, it is just a heat-pipe or heat-spreader with internal liquid whose name was a bit played with my marketing.

  2. @lvbot I guess that means I still heed your awesome advice and stick with my current religion.

  4. @lvbot Yes, that is the term for what they are doing to/for the product, but how would you call my feeling towards me finding out about [feature] ?

  5. How would you call a situation where something is advertised with a certain selling point, but when investigating further you find out that the actual point itself is underwhelming to the point where they probably did the absolute minimum to put a checkmark in the checkbox of [feature] ?

  6. @nerthos They HAVE to do it under contract and licencing. If you have another account to bypass that, then you are "guilty" of bypassing their prevention, and as such the site ( or whatever it is ) can not be held accountable.

Is it stupid ? It still is. But... you know... capitalism...

  10. I am playing "The Last Federation", and the game is trying to stress me out I think.
Both the Skylaxians and the Peltian homeplanet ( also, only planet ) are less than 5 million and are dealing with some sort of super disease. The Burlust are dealing with an invasion from the Evuck to the point where the Burlust have no more spaceships whatsoever, But the Evuck are not bombing the planet from orbit yet. The Boarines seem to be infertile due to global cooling, and the Thoraxian hive-queen is about to start her yearly egglaying cycle, which means she is going to be super butthurt as soon as she finds out that the Acutians spammed their side of the galaxy with space-stations.

It's not easy being a diplomat, not even in games.

  11. @adiwan Hmm, what are you talking about ? That just the eye-toy is a cheap accessory anyway ? I figure I need one if I want to play eye-toy games on the PS2 ?

  16. @adiwan You are undervalueing the power of German flea-markets, or underestimating the greedyness of the used-products on the Dutch market just a little bit methinks. no matter :) I'll just be patient and keep my eyes peeled for a good deal.

  18. @nerthos Awesome bro's do awesome things.

I got that game and got ALL the achievements on a bet, took me 304 hours. I am quite fond of the game, but it suffers from "we wanted to make an MMO untill we was the huge amount of dead skulls right outside of WoW's cave"-suffering gamelength that keeps on dragging, and a difficulty-setting that is merely fiddling with "enemies attack more and in groups" and "increased life pools for enemies". Still a great game. Though I do not remember if it had female Dwarves.

  19. @adiwan I always wanted one actually... Kinda makes me wonder now if there are PC&Webcam based games that work with the same gimmick

( I have no idea where my PS2 is right now, nor where I could pick up that game&hardware )

  22. I woke up with a a HUGELY upset stomach today, dragging myself to my computer after a while because I could not sleep further, I started watching random YouTube video's. Eventually I got into a stream/pool of "why Hillary is the sour spoiled grape in the great fruit-bowl we call American Democracy" themed video's...

This is not helping me feel better...

  29. @lvbot Pretty sure that the Geordi Laforge in charge of the multiverse code has done something amazingly with the refractor beam or deflector dish to fix any buffer overflow problems.

Resulting in nothing but awesome YouTube movies here on Earth Prime

  30. @lvbot The idea of trying to fix something with more of the thing that looks like which caused it seems like a great idea. Kinda like fixing trypophobia with a high powered drill.

I hear a blockbuster movie idea.
