  1. @thelastgherkin Remember Legend of Zelda on the NES, I always thought that the "power bracelet" was secretly a croissant. And then I found the manual. ... Anyway, yes, they look freaky.

  3. One of my friends : "Everyone should know what I know, for what I know is awesome". So I asked him what 1+2x3 equates to. *sigh* it is called order-of-operations, it is not much harder than crossing the street.

  7. @mrmattimation I know we do not see eye to eye on many things, but not even taking into account the ending the game by itself suffers a whole lot from pretentiousness. But then again that is true for way many more games, it has a whole lot to do with how you yourself are on the perceiving end of the spectrum. Take Loot-hoarding games for example, like Diablo 3 and Borderlands 2. Or pretty much any game by EA of the past few years, WATCH_DOGS and Tom Clancy's The Division. Some have gotten there by attempting to impress me with more, and then doublebacktaking as soon as it turns out that the consoles this generation are weaker than anticipated, or offering me a HARD game and then within 24 hours I am playing it while watching TV because it has become a repetative drag. My point is "eye of the beholder", and since Marketing teams everywhere now have like half the developmental budget, all AAA games seem halfway pretentious to me... *sigh*

  8. @metaltao EGADS ! My personal gym trainer is Dr Dry !!!

  9. @rarity That hoverboard sure looks like they used to be trainer-wheels for a small bike though.

Monday, 22-Feb-16 23:44:59 UTC from web in context
  10. @metaltao No it does most certainly NOT. It sounds like the opposite of Dr Pepper, All he wants to do is keep us hydrated. Dr Dry just pets a cat while sitting in a swivel chair wile saying "No mr Bond, I expect you to dehydrate"

  11. @rarity What are number 1 and 3 ?

  12. @mushi Ah, you beat me.

Monday, 22-Feb-16 23:28:09 UTC from web in context
  13. @mushi Oh yes you should be scared too. If she ever catches you she'll hug you and then go on and on about how skinny you are, and then feed you ALL the odd pancakes...

Odd pancakes ? yes, because all the even pancakes go into her own mouth.

  14. @ceruleanspark *reads contents of PHP file* Ohhyeah. I remember something about that question being asked because a friend of someone here could not join due to that ... I still think the answer is kinda weird. Like it is some sort of inside joke.

Monday, 22-Feb-16 23:14:46 UTC from web in context
  15. @metaltao Well if her hunger for pancakes is about as insatiable as it is for hugging people... Don't just try to make sure, just start running now...

  16. @ceruleanspark When was that implemented ? I do not remember seeing it when I joined.

  17. @mushi Something about "invite your most hated enemy into this world, stab him a few times in the game, and wonder why you never see him again", right ?

  18. @metaltao Have you ever met my Grandmother ? She is from Suriname and is the biggest human I know, and possibly the densest.

Monday, 22-Feb-16 23:02:59 UTC from web in context
  19. @metaltao But what if Grandma possibly is the super massive black hole in the center of our universe ?

  20. @thelastgherkin Ohno, we probably have to treat animals WAY more cruel before evolution would even consider giving them opposable thumbs. Which is why I am in favor of sending mind-controlled possums with suicide vests into the middle east instead of monkeys... I am afraid of their thumbs.

  23. @mushi So, yeah, Let's say you DID have a really biblical name and that stuff happened to you. I'd think it would affect my thinking quite a bit... Not saying it should ofcourse, just that my headcanon and reality do not agree.

  24. @mushi There once was a woman at the bus stop who nearly groped Jesus ?

Monday, 22-Feb-16 21:33:21 UTC from web in context
  25. @mushi Oh, nice name. Not as biblical as some would have led me believe though.

  26. @mushi I recognize that user avatar. Now I am curious, what does your 9gag name mean ?

  27. @adiwan Nono, I am saying that I do not like cities that look like they were made in that game ( by someone with OCD ). I like the game, and I see the power of it, but it's still a game. If you take the same layouts and put them in real life... yeah... not a fan, feels too static and unalive.

Monday, 22-Feb-16 19:15:39 UTC from web in context
  28. @adiwan I'm with that 100%. And let me add, cities that look like they could have been build in Cities XL by someone with OCD make me feel like I'm going around in circles getting nowhere.

  30. @lvbot I wonder if I can make tea from that.

I also wonder if people on this side of the globe know who Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable is.

I also wonder if I am going to hell for that joke.
