@adiwan Hmm, I had one of those xbox 360's, RROD. 1st generation. You recommended that I toss it, I agreed, so I did. I might just wait for either a flea market opportunity or an emulator/port so I can play it. I've got waaaay too much games and IRL thingies on my plate anyway

@adiwan In all fairness, 4kids rather butchered the show trying to localize it. I did eventually watch the whole american original Yu-Gi-Oh but it took a few years. And I basically only wanted to know what happened to the Pharaoh... ... ... Yeah you can skip season 4

I I just did some digging in how nuclear reactors operate and the rods that cause them to be usable. Here are the takeouts I actually had wrong for the largest part of my life. Enriching Uranium basically means that you take naturally occurring Uranium, and seperate the B238 isotope from the B235 isotope, the B235 isotope is the fissile one and was in WW2 used for several ( including "Little Boy" ) atomic bombs. But seen as there is only about 1.2% Uranium B235 in every unit of naturally occurring Uranium, they eventually started making atomic bombs with plutonium ( Which is not a naturally occurring element, but you can make some using Uranium, and a nuclear reactor ) ... The biggest outtakes are that nuclear reactors can not explode the same way bombs do ( unlike what seems to be popular opinion ) because they want to boil water, not become fissile enough so they can explode. Also in case of a meltdown, the meltdown material becomes diluted as it goes down, untill it no longer melts

@northernnarwhal I am inclined to agree. However my PC ( or parts thereof ) died. It's at the shop now ( Warranty ). I think I should not make big expenses untill that thing is fixed good & proper. Sadly when that is done Splatoon might already have died a salty sea death

@redenchilada That's because the game is good. But the WiiU sales itself are abysmal enough that any potential hype that reaches my radar gets burried under other hypetrains. Including babypictures

Today, I mourn. My computer has cought fire. Or more specifically the Radeon 6950 that was in it. The first 2 prongs of the slot on my motherboard look like someone painted them brown. I have an Asus sabertooth motherboard. As such I should have 5 years of warranty, but I am not sure if this is covered. But I am really shaken up by this :'( this does not bode particularry well for that upcoming big ass outdoor lan event :'(
