  2. @tycho Then I'm assuming you've listened to Hilary Duff's stuff. I just torrented it, so if you can find it I know the "Saturday night" cover is the popular one even though it's probably the worst on the album.

  4. People who post here with like "hello" or something and then moping when they get no response are clearly fundamentally misunderstanding the entire purpose of microblogging. No-one cares about "hello". Post a witty observation! Tell a story! Share a cute picture! Post a rant about how other people are doing it wrong!

  20. @pony It became a highly polarized topic everywhere. Conservatives don't understand that everybody is free to do what they want with their sexual and romantic lives, and gays don't understand that other people don't want them to constantly complain and protest about being discriminated. I'm basically in the middle of it. I don't have a problem with people being gay, but I don't want to hear about it. I'm ok with them as long as they keep it private.

  21. @xxyyxx Mario 64 is awesome. I would suggest you check out Final Fantasy III for the SNES. My most favorite game ever. You might also be able to find it as FF VI (because it was VI in Japan, but III in America)

  24. @xxyyxx Reading is fantastic. I highly recommend it. Terry Pratchett is amazing, if you like smart, funny satire on fantasy stories and real life :3 Brandon Sanderson writes wonderful epic fantasy. Dan Wells does really good mid-grade horror.

  30. @xxyyxx I've succesfully shared a wireless Windows connection over to my Linux box using an ethernet cable. It's not the best connection ever, but it works. At any rate, here is what you gonna do: Start -> Configuration screen -> Internet -> Change adapter settings -> Choose your wireless and the LAN connection by ctrl+clicking and, when both are selected, use "bridge connection". My Linux system then connected succesfully by itself.
