@mrmattimation No, Samsung make an adapter that lets you connect an hdmi cable to the tablet, so my tablet screen shows up on the TV.

@mrmattimation It applies to both genders in one case or another. There's lots of females that think that men are out to get them, and there's lots of males that think that women are out to lie to and ruin them. They both have examples to endorse their points, but they're also horribly generalizing, and the way to solve it is to catch the guilty, not to blame a gender, because otherwise everyone would be blamed. In my opinion the way to solve it is to teach self defense, but also to teach how and when to use it, and make clear and strong punishments for its misuse, because otherwise lots of innocents would be harmed due to sheer paranoia.

@nerthos you know knives. what would be a cheap way to sharpen a mini Swiss Army Knife that I have? It's quite a bit less than sharp...

@techdisk if it's a straight edge, you can get a cheap steel and sharpen it on that, or get one of those electric knife sharpeners that you just put the knife in and it grinds it for you.

@techdisk check someplace that sells sporting goods, you can usually find a cheap sharpener there.

@techdisk Either you buy a sharpener or use a small file and file it carefully. If it's stainless steel you'll need to leave a microserrated edge for it to cut properly; if it is carbon steel a smooth edge will be best.

@techdisk I found out last night that I can hook up an Xbox 360 controller to my phone and all I need is a regular to micro USB adapter, which is $1.38 on amazon.

@colfax Huh. My tablet allows me to connect my PS3 controller up. Of course it's a sony tablet and its all proprietary... but there's like no games that support it either. meh.
