   I think my issue with Arkangel is that it doesn't cover any new ground - neither for television in general nor the show itself. It's a storyline that could be used (and HAS been used) in most every familial sitcom out there, but with a slightly updated concept, and a less gratifying ending. I'm definitely used to downer endings from this show, but this episode in particular didn't feel like it had anything new to say.

    I'm actually kind of surprised at how well Death Note holds up watching it now. It's enjoyable for the most part and the dub is fairly competent. The ending is still pretty weak but I had fun with it
