@loveydoe Hmm, I haven't honestly seen much in the ways of problem ware with CentOS. Mainly due to it's structure and usage with website hosting etiquette and the likes. It's YUM repository is quite extensive but integrating additional RPM's is a doddle as we all know. Again it's really down to what you want to use.
My boxes sit in France in a hosting centre with OVH there so I don't deal with anything desktop wise, whilst OVH are wonderful enough to provide a free Virtual Desktop to remote in to, I find that it's just as easy to manage with the SSH. -

@loveydoe Hmm, hard to say really. CentOS is more widely supported for Web Based control panels. Likes of Plesk and cPanel. I've been waiting for 7 to come out as it fixes an issue where the glibs have been out of date for way to long, which impaired the hosting of many game servers I wanted to. This new 7th version fixes all that and brings us in line with other distros such as Ubuntu 13+ and such.
Really it's down to personal choice, I simply use it as I don't have the time of day to learn how to set up web servers from scratch and rely on Plesk. -
Hrmmmmm.. CentOS 7.0 is out, and OVH has it.. I hate this. It pops up the day AFTER I already reformatted and re installed my server box. Hate you too fate. Stupid thing.

@mrmattimation Didn't say you should start being happy, slap yourself. I said you have to change your life, it's a slow process but you can either sit here doing the same routine and NOT be happy. Or you can try and do something and change your life, taking the cahnce too try and BE happy.

@pony It did a lot, though right now it's still that niggle of fleshing out the smaller issues and increasing the staff base to a decent size to manage it all. And then advertising.

@pony We split the site in half around.. two years ago now. October wise. As the site was a combination of RP & Social and I still had RDN at the time. The Splitting for RDN and RDN RP was a good idea here, and whilst it's /worked/ on the squares it's taken a lot longer.

@cinnamonswirl Quite a lot to say the least, or more so pretty much all. But until CentOS 7 comes out to fix the missing Glib issue I cannot use my own box to host the Linux varrients as more games need it.
