@neurario yup. big or small I suppose I don't mind. Depending on when a fan joined the community and where they connected with other bronies each of us has different expectations. Some miss the tighter-knit feel of the earliest days, I miss the excitement of newponies and almost newponies dropping in, but it's also nice to get to know the core RDN members better and see what the close-knit feel is like.

@flaredancer it's not being noticed that gets to me. I am literally closed up about anything about myself. Like when people ask how my day was or how I'm doing, my logic is thus: "you couldn't possibly care. What if my friend just died, or I lost my job? I'm not going to dump that on you, and there's certainly no point in bringing it up because I don't expect you to care enough to help. The most I'll get out of you is a 'that sucks' or 'hope your day gets better.' I may even ruin your day because a complete stranger dumped crap on you. And if my day IS good, you won't understand why. My day is either good because I painted new fantasy miniatures, watched ponies, or I'm ecstatic because my normal chest pains aren't killing me. So why are you even asking how I'm doing? What do you get out of it?" So at the end of all that, I just respond with "alright, I guess." People get all weird that their pre-programmed social exchanges aren't met with the expected pre-programmed responses.
