Finally starting to pass level 8 charts in IIDX rather well. And finally starting to learn how to pinky. Doesn't stop this game from still being ridiculously hard. Now that I can play songs I always wanted to play I just want to play even harder songs now. This game is crazy in that you either feel really, really satisfied, or really, really frustrated. !rgp

@derpybronylikesrarity Rarity's image is always welcome, especially when artful PMV is on the line. The unclean version is far better. Why did they cut the credits off of the end of it? Why don't they put Ludacris's radio edit which is probably better than the one with that one the explicit word in the chorus? "Move... Get out the way. Get out the way." There is like one scene that is really vulgar, but it is really funny, too. I don't know how I feel about it, but I figured that since the original version comes up first when searching for the title, I would just post the less well known version, leaving the original for the kids to find when the adults are doing their adult things. It is all good. I chopped the http-part off of the beginning, but I am not sure why your link didn't have an image, unless that is the only reason. Without any further ado... @flaxx Supposedly, Google+ started on /b/ where some people thought that since Twitter and Facebook were equally annoying and frustrating in their respective special ways, that we should through another one into the mix. Now, instead of being ashamed at how much time you waste on one, you can also imagine how much fun it would be to leave to one that you started with and go off with the newer, better one.

@derpy Don't play with the SMS. That is for blowing up cell phones with. If you want to waste a few texts, punch in your phone number. (Here and Twitter.com will both probably work the same.) There will be a message sent to you. You reply to the message with the word or phrase that the text tells you about. After a few exchanges, you might be set-up to use your phone instead of a computer, or you might be really frustrated that you are getting exactly what you asked for, but you forgot to ask for instructions on turning it off again.

Holy crap that is really neat. It keeps separate tool settings for every individual input device. So I can move layers with the mouse, draw fine strokes with the pen, and erase huge fat segments with the eraser. This actually makes the Gimp seem ... sort of usable.

@starshine You did the right thing back then with that, but alternative pointing devices or something like a GPS to plug into the USB port are necessarily very simple. The complex part is the interaction between the application software (X or the cartographic program for my GPS) and the kernel. The specification is both vague and strict. Mainly, Microsoft or Apple makes a few dollars off of support while the kernel hackers and application programmers catch up. I took about a week for me to etch out a character device driver and logger for my GPS. It mapped many miles. I used the software that came with the $100 device for a whole half of an hour, before it stopped working, and I uninstalled it.

All I do in TF2 is play Medic. The achievement, Head of the Class, complete a round with every class? Four years, and I'm 1/9. I didn't even know how to call for a Medic till like, last month. Sometimes I'll jokingly hop on another class, usually Spy, Sniper, or Engineer, the classes you have to know really well to play, just for poops and giggles, to make my clan go 'God damn it Ed you're horrible, stop not playing Medic!', then I'll hop back on Medic. Lately I've been wanting to play TF2 by myself, learn a class offline, then take it online, play outside my clan, get awesome at it, then hop to it in one of my clan games. Everyone will go 'God damn it Ed no Soldier for you!', then I start rocking cherries at it, and they'll be all wtf is going on?

@engelhardt Do it. It is just like any game. First, you are bored. Then, you see that your friends are pretending that they aren't bored in order to stay in-character in some sort of fascinating play. Then, you jump in and start improvising. Then, they toy with you for a time. Then, they trample you into a mush, and you want to cry. Then, you go to time-out and devise a wicked plan for revenge. Then, you practice. Then, you are ready. Then, you go back and toy with the new guys before beginning to torture them in turn. You will never be as good as the few that came to that same conclusion and have been practicing for so long that they can beat you with their eyes closed, but at least you aren't bored, and you have someone to push around whenever you feel like it. Then, you could always just be a good medic or catcher or follower or mascot or whoopindog or class clown or whatever.
