@omni Package managers are the huge one for me. :p
-
@omni Blustacks won't play gameloft games sadly.. there's a speculated reason if you'd like me to look it up
-
@omni Oh, I missed a notice there. Heh, maybe *I* should check the context. XD
-
@omni Other way around.
-
@omni "Photoshop"? GIMP is not an equivalent, it's an alternative. :p As well as any of the Adobe Masters Suit really, I think.
-
@omni You should as welln
-
@omni Photoshop is native to Windows & OSX
-
@omni is there any program that someone might want to run on Windows that doesn't have a native equivalent?
-
@omni yeah. I realized that after posting xP
-
@omni ooh that's annoying too yeah.
-
@omni I guessed as much but it's nice to see confirmation yeah. :)
-
@omni don't worry.. that guy is a pro.. If you look closely you'll notice the title reads BEST DRAWING EVAR
-
@omni never liked mandatory full screen mode in any program beyond that's not a phone app
-
@omni Well, the original was surely better. Amongst the things I miss are: The ability to not use full-screen mode. This makes the game unplayable for me, as I can't stay up-to-date with other things then.
-
@omni oh nevermind visualboyadvance
-
@omni is there a gameboy emulator for any linux distro out there?
-
@omni woo! gratz
-
@omni that is one advantage I guess. totally not worth it to me still but *shrug*
-
@omni For reference, see that wireframe spaceship game on the Virtual Boy. (Red Alarm, was it?)
-
@ceruleanspark @omni Why don't console gamers just switch to PCs?
-
@omni but that is the first time i have to wait for it on a game...
-
@omni I think even Google requires you to void your warranty to unlock the bootloader on nexus devices.
-
@omni Not that I can think of. They'd have to extract the flash from every device sent in and examine the operating system on it, which would be time consuming and costly. (Warranty repair would go from being something you can do with cheap labor to something requiring computer forensics)
-
@omni Especially me. :p
-
@omni Their argument is that they do not want to be responsible for replacing hardware damaged by poorly implemented alternate operating systems, which is actually fairly reasonable.
-
@omni Sure, we should have that freedom, but again I would like to point out that Windows is not targeted toward users who are going to take advantage of those freedoms.
