This evening I am making pizza and developing film. These are two of my favourite things to do, though developing film while you're going to be kneading flour may not be the wisest of moves.

I don't write so much as I arrange, I've yet to write something from scratch, but I wrote all the arranges for the piano trio in which I used to play.

@knoxemerald I wait until something starts playing in my head, then I ask myself 'Wait. Is my brain playing something that's been done and I've heard before, or is it playing something that hasn't been done, and I want to hear?'. If it's the latter, I start writing it down, and expand on it from there.

@knoxemerald Things are playing in my head, but nothing original. The most I have right know is a bass guitar line for Winter Wrap Up. Which I air-play on the stand up bass but in my head it plays back as a bass guitar.

So I'm on valium 'cause I just had some dental work, and I drew Colgate for someone in this IRC. Then like four people asked me to draw their OCs. Here they are. Someone also requested I draw Tom. Did some sparring at my gym with someone who insists on wearing four ounce gloves (the once you see guys in the UFC wearing, without a lot of padding), took a shot in my lower jaw. It's clearly compounded some underlying problem with one of my molars, 'cause the swelling in my face has gone done, and there's still a wicked pain in one of my molars. Gotta go to the dentist for this murdock, with no insurance. I have no idea how much money I'm going to be out, but I'm sure it's going to be more than I'd like.

Watched Red State this afternoon. Engaging flick, very graphic. Not what I expected out of Kevin Smith, though David Klein's cinematography makes it very obviously a Kevin Smith flick. Definitely worth watching. Follows an extremist religious group similar to the Westboro Baptist Church who are up to some illicit activities and get the attention of the ATF.

@sinsofhope Officially? Nah. We've had two weekends in a row of events and I think most of us need a slight break to plan something else. Next meetup will be relatively soon in the Akron area to the best of my knowledge, and shortly after that a Halloween party in Springfield. Look for an update about both this weekend. Of course, unofficially anypony can throw any sort of meetup or event they want ^_~

@quetzalcoatl I play double bass, and for the most part I play pizzicato, hence the name. Even Engelhardt was a nod to playing double bass, they make basses.

In my head, the way the US governments buys aircraft and vessels for defence is some guy pulls up to a drive-thru, a voice crackles over the intercom and says 'Hi! Welcome to the DoD! How can I help you?', the guy looks at a menu and goes 'uhhhhm, I'll take 2,433 F-35s, 30 Virgina class submarines, six fleets of V-22s, four fleets FA-18-EFS, and another fleet of EA-18Gs', then the guy on the intercom says 'Okay, that'll be 137 billion dollars. Please pull around to the second window'.
