When I talk to people in this fandom it always makes me kind of sad that people think it's impossible to have an Equestria-like society in this world, like we'd need some kind of magic based intervention to start being nice to eachother. It's really not that difficult to just do a couple of nice things a day for other people. I think if everyone in the fandom made a point of voluntarily doing one nice thing per day, the world would, if there are as many of us as people seem to think there are, become a generally more pleasant place.
