  4. Not to advocate violence, but wouldn't the world be a better place if more pranks videos ended with a college bro getting beaten to within an inch of his life?

  5. I've been brainstorming dark chocolate brownies with maple bacon and pecans, kind of inspired by a donut I had once. What's anybody think?

  6. The post-event interview segment of strongman competitions always seem kind of cruel. "Hey, I know English is like your third language and you need to breathe like someone who was just carrying a locomotive, but here are some inane questions like 'Dang that was heavy, huh?'"

  9. @zeldatra Nothing. I enjoy anti-humor, and it isn't even that. It's like Musashi wrote, nothing IS a thing - a concept, or an awareness of absence. No-thing would be true nothingness, void, not even thought. Pickle Rick is no-humor.

  12. Or, as the Red Hot Chili Peppers Once sang, "Lowbrow, but I rock a little know-how."

  13. @adiwan But Troma have managed to make feature films for a half-million dollar budget pretty reliably all the while, not inflation adjusted - $500,000 in 80s money for 80s movies, and still $500k in 2010s money for 2010s movies. And that has included some endearing jank, like a car flip/explosion they've used constantly since 1991 or so.

  17. @adiwan If I could draw worth a crap, I would have liked to do a similar "animatic" vibe for the podcast I narrated, but alas I never took the time to develop the skill

  22. Anyway comics scripts are fun(?). Issue 1 was 19 pages of script (intended) for 22 pages of comic. Issue 2 is already 19 pages and I still have four more scenes. But 1 was a lot of big, quiet establishing shots and stuff, 2 is more dialogue heavy and I swear two pages of script is gonna fit into a single panel.
