@scribus That sounds rad. One of the script treatments I’m writing as part of this series pitch is a spoof of supernatural media & part of me wonders, supposing I had to stay on the web, how difficult/expensive it’d be to get Nerf Herder to perform a cover of the Swole Foods theme song for that one. Definitely one of my production fantasies.

@scribus About half my income will be just for repaying the debt and the rest is for getting it to a proper shape and comics. I guess I'll starve.
It's not that bad but the next few years will be rough for sure. At least I will be able to sleep and have my peace and quiet. -
@scribus In a way I was very lucky that the little piece of Potato Knishes was found in the first place and it didn't got me stranded far away from home. I was lucky that it happened close to home. I have a small set of stairs a few meters in front of my cellar. There I pull my bicycle down so it bounces on the edge of the steps. Just as I opened my cellar door my bike fell on its own (it was on its kickstand) and there I found the flat. Moments before I could cycle and didn't feel anything out of the ordinary, i.e. I had full pressure in the hose (between 4 and 5 bar).

@scribus nah. It doesn't appeal that much. I don't know what to do when it's slathered all over the inner side of the tire.

@scribus The same tire was affected. The back one with all the most annoying to service. I don't know if the pucture is in the same spot but at this point I'm fed up and I don't want to spend any time investigating or fixing it. I just ordered a new set of tires and tubes just to get rid of any variables introduced by my current setup. Also the tires are at this point probably 10 years old, so needing to buy new ones are not unsurprising. In my possession they have almost 2000km. The profile looks good and the rubber doesn't crumble but at this age they became harder and thus reducing the grip on the road.

@scribus it’s not, but it’s probably fairer in the south than it is in California, a pack of Marlboros is still under $10 here (currently $8.32 after tax)

@scribus love crackheads, I’m so glad that now that the metro stop in my hometown is open the crackheads who I banned from my old store in DC are coming over to my new store in the suburbs so that I can explain to them all over again that no, you cannot trade a gallon of canola oil for a carton of cigarettes like this is some kind of bartering station in Roman Greece
