  1. @scribus More so in the sense that it was old news by the time the episode aired - the rebate was a pre-9/11 initiative, the episode aired in 2003, & even on the DVD commentary the writers acknowledge it was a bit of a dated topic at the time. Of course everyone gets the COVID episode, but it feels a bit LATE to do a COVID episode.

  4. @scribus When I was little I created poly(colored) bears by biting off gummy bears in sections and put them together so I had multiple flavors at once.

  9. @scribus this is probably so offensive it loops back around to the point nobody could consider it offensive, which is normally how I operate anyway, so… on the table

  10. @scribus a lore tidbit that the show kind of ignores when convenient, which to be fair, is consistently how they like to do things over there

  13. @scribus The garden is full of bushes and other stuff. The owners planted a fir tree relatively in the middle and it has grown so big that there is barely any room left for anything else. The first thing that has to be done in that garden is to fell the tree. Also it is such a kind of fir tree that is not even beautiful and full. It looks more like a skeleton of a tree with more branches than needles.

  14. @scribus I like most of helluva actually! I just find the edgy humor to be boring and uncreative lol. But I genuinely like a few of the characters and the worldbuilding/lore.

  19. @scribus tears of the kingdom not being multiplayer is a wasted opportunity in general tbh, the amount of insane papaya you’d be able to do with the Rust building mechanics… you don’t even need to justify a second Link, the game does it for you with the Naruto shadow clones that everyone seems to be able to use now.

  23. @scribus Good lord I wish, the previous game indirectly mentioned the events of Twilight Princess exactly one time and that seems to be the only acknowledgment Nintendo is willing to give that game.

  24. @scribus Yeah. I think the same of the stock exchange. It's a huge and legal gambling machine.

  25. @scribus The masterminds at Budweiser came up with the perfect evil plan: if you don't buy it you're a somethingphobe, if you buy it you have to drink Bud Light. With this masterful move, they can cause suffering to all peoples of the nation.

  26. @scribus no vandalism at my store yet but it’s coming I think, a group of Trumpers came in last week and stole literally every newspaper reporting on his arrest so they could trash it before anyone could read it so I’m expecting those same guys to try some apple with the Bud Light too

  28. @scribus 15 Chapter. The length of a chapter is rather uneven. The later chapters in a yakuza game are longer when trying to get most of the sidestories. I expect it to take 15 hours to finish.

  30. @scribus I spent a little longer than I should have wondering what exactly is on MTV these days, both Beavis & Butt-Head and the Daria spin-off are on Paramount+, South Park only airs premieres on MTV, and the “M” in “MTV” hasn’t stood for music in a very long time
