  1. @scribus I don't think I'm capable of doing anything without making a joke about it (ie episode 4 had a very frank and real discussion about suicide with the subtext being that I, the creator, am depressed, followed immediately by a joke about it) but the scene as it currently exists is not a "joke"

  2. @scribus no I haven't. I'm not watching the news a lot. This is quite ridiculous and hilarious

  3. @scribus I am wholly sympathetic towards people with those sorts of predispositions but at the same time we are at (arguably past) the point where people act like the Internet should be catered towards them and their sensibilities specifically and it's to the detriment of years of societal progress

  5. @scribus sucky seven, aching eight, nefarious nine, treacherous ten, eldrich eleven, tormenting twelve, thrashing thirteen, fatal fourteen, fingering fifteen, smooching sixteen, scandalous seventeen, edgy eighteen...

  6. @scribus I'd say every age is terrible, just in a different way.

  7. @scribus From the sounds I receive it's a probable explanation. The trampling sounds transfer through the walls up such that I can hear them and my floor is swinging with the trampling giving me some unpleasant proto-seasickness.

  8. @scribus The boys down at Williams Street are still doing god's work I see. Adult Swim might be the basic cable version of Jesus.

  9. @scribus I'm a mostly hygienic reasonable person and already practiced most basic things like keeping distance and washing regularly my hands (going outside, coming home, before a meal...) and being highly aware of not touching the face upon touching others (shaking hands for example). Seeing others doing the same thing on a loosened quarantine is almost impossible. Whenever seeing public rest rooms somewhere else or at work... You lose faith. In my opinion it'll spread even faster because the mass of infected people is higher than at the beginning. 3 months in a tight lockdown would solve this problem, however most people gave up after a few weeks.

  15. @scribus his campaign is a papayaing disaster so far. he planned to make up for inevitable lost ground in the midwest (specificially MI, WI, PA) by instead somehow winning Virginia and Colorado, without actually changing anything about the way he governs or campaigns to facilitate the six-point flip he would need for that. even as someone who hates the guy and wants him out as soon as possible, it's actually frustrating to watch him run a campaign so bad that Joe grapein Biden is winning Arizona and North Carolina

  16. @scribus Linux on laptops is almost always a mistake unless it's a Chromebook in Google's VM. There is too much nonstandard hardware that usually something dumb breaks. I tried overwriting ChromeOS with plain Xubuntu on my Chromebook and there was no sound, suspend didn't work, and if you don't install a special version of Ubuntu (Gallium) the touchpad doesn't work right.

  17. @scribus I hate IBM-like computers and avoid them for anything that makes sense to at this point. For gaming I look for the Switch version, even if it's more expensive. I like my Chromebook because it's a good platform for Linux without basic hardware nightmares, but it also prevents you from doing much with external devices unless you're willing to defile ChromeOS by sidestepping their VM environment. There are too many parts in any operating system anymore. Apple loves to break backwards compatibility because it becomes too much effort to support everything after a while, but it sucks for the users. Make sure you don't upgrade to 10.1000.2000.12 because it breaks this one specific program that only works on versions .10 and .11. Then you get into this weird situation where two of your tools work in different ranges of versions and you're screwed. I can understand why they'd get rid of 32 bit compatibility, since no computer runs 32 bit processors anymore, but it still stinks

  18. @scribus Long story short, no computational device should ever do anything the User did not tell it to. If an operator can't operate the device, DO NOT DUMB IT DOWN. If a motorist can't drive, we don't dumb down the licensing test, we put them on the gorram bus!

  21. @scribus First of all the scale of my mask has to fit. Due to the scanning process and the myriad of 3d programs I had to use the scale is all out of whack when exporting. So I had to guess the right scale. I used some marker places and guesstimated the final thing.

  22. @scribus I'll put a filter behind later. This model doesn't have any fixtures for a filter. After printing I consider thinking about one, or even none. I also could just wear a normal mask under that.

  23. @scribus Lady Gaga's performance in that episode was really similar to a halftime show that she would do after the episode aired so i'm assuming that's why that's there

  25. @scribus I have a decent setup at home but I’m paying a voice actress in Richmond for Swole Foods and I would like to be in the room while she’s recording, that’s the big issue. :/

  26. @scribus I think there’s a zone. Have below a certain amount, you’re weird. Have above a certain amount, you’re a creep and you’re abusing your power. But there’s gotta be a sweet spot where you’re famous enough to do it but not-famous enough to get away with it

  27. @scribus The installation of Pleroma comes with an NGINX config file located at /opt/pleroma/installation/pleroma.nginx copy it to the NGINX sites-available directory, change your server names, then symbolically link it to the sites-enabled path
