  1. @scribus Too old to join space force? No worries, you can still fight space ISIS from the home front.

  3. @scribus yeah I just kinda have it off in another window while I’m working because it’s very low-maintenance and i think I’m gonna go ahead and try to get myself impeached or something cus this whole “being president” thing is very hard

  5. @tiff @scribus thanks, admittedly I don’t 100% know what’s going to happen, it’s a friend I know through work and I found out about it through an announcement that was made to the management team about it. I don’t know how serious it is, if it’s treatable, etc. etc. Maybe I’m overreacting. Maybe this ends up being nothing after a round of chemo and a surgery. I hope that’s the case but I know almost nothing about it and I’m supposed to be pretend everything’s normal.

  7. @scribus I had the unfortunate pleasure to be awoken by fire trucks signaling between 3AM and 4AM all week, interrupting my sleep and I not being able to get asleep again. I'm falling mentally apart.

  9. @scribus We run a custom campaign setting. Basically our characters went to an undiscovered country, far far away from their own, and settled there. Basically it's a frontier settling next to old civilization ruins (2 days of travel away in a jungle). Basically dragons and dragonborns were the Goa'uld (Stargate) and enslaved other worlds to support their own. The ruins next to our settling were abandoned a long time after a bloody revolt of yet unknown history behind that. This is so far as I know it. Last session we learned that dragons were behind of this and all that stuff.

  11. @scribus A good DM knows when to fudge and when not. That barrage of nat 20s was quite memorable and thrilling. We survived, but barely. Soon-ish I will take over as a DM for a one-shot adventure. I will fudge the dice but I will keep all natural 1s and 20s as they fall.

  12. @scribus Once our DM rolled 4 natural 20s within 5 minutes (what it felt like). It was brutal. After the second 20 he rolled the dice openly because it was unbelievable (I believed his rolls nonetheless but it was a spectacle).

  13. @scribus "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani ?"

Oh I tell you why. While not calling for the death of groups you do not agree with directly you certainly do not seem to be too keen on calling it out either.

In your other post you talk about those you deem worthy of execution. Worthy ? ... WORTHY ! Face it. You became just as bad as the people you deem worthy of disrespect or worse. May that mark upon your skin be forever be a reminder of the person you became you swore you did not want to be.

Everyone who thinks I am an asshole should realize something. Do it ! I will happily martyr myself in your memories and off of this platform. The next time something bad happens or the 'wrong' person gets elected I want you all to blame me. Scribus can quote Romans 2:1 and you can all rest assured that everyone is safe as you did the right thing by closing yourself off from answering questions and using shaming tactics to establish dominance and promote group-think.

  14. @scribus The musician for Swole Foods is a furry (more or less my consultant at that point, heh) and he explained that whole situation to me, and I feel like THAT’S different because THAT’S inherently pornographic, whereas Big Mouth, much as I despise the show, is nonetheless clearly using sexual imagery as a comedic device. The same can be said about movies like Ridgemont

  15. @scribus Psh, really ? I do not believe for one second that any proverbial key to any castle is to be found around here now. Probably never even was to the first place. I am a staunch believer that there are no people actively hating one another, just people who have a misunderstanding of somekind. What if I were to declare the D word to be just as offensive as the N word ? You would be confused as to what I even mean since you obviously never heard of it. Even though, I think it should be fairly obvious, look at my name FGS. But, you never asked. You only assumed. Which is why we are having a breakdown of comminucation in a way.

Asking why is a bad thing tho [ makes universal sign language symbol for coocoo ]

Have fun condoning calling out for the death of TERFS and share apple recipes on Tories. Because democracy is only good when it serves your own echo chamber, right ? I'd quote Matthew 7:5 at you but you would probably just use that to call me a Conservative or something.

  16. @scribus OK... @drinkingpony, I regret "asshole," and I'm sorry for saying that. And, looking back, I may or may not have been able to choose a more moderate tone. But I stand by the original points. You've been told how and why it's upsetting, and given avenues of further research. And you just keep plowing ahead. I genuinely suspect some sealion-ing is at play, and I can only guess at any motivations. But the endless games of "Well, just explain better and I'll respect it" stop being cute at about kindergarten ("Why? Why? Why? Why?"); that's why kids are shipped off to school to be dealt with.

  18. @scribus I am sorry but I do not really agree with your depressing version of the LGBTQ's history.

But you did save me the trouble of figuring out her new name, so thank you.

I do have a funny question for you though. What if I somehow got an Olympic medal and then uploaded my brain into a computer and lived forever. Would that mean that you got the rights to brag about it forever aswell ? Someone in my group came up with that one as a way to challenge mortality in a shrodinger's box kinda way. I do not think it is supposed to be answerred outright. But it does present a direct problem. Does our consciousness matter over our body, or the body over consciousness, and which one carries the 'name' ?

So who won those olympic medals ? Why must you dead-think someone ?

And I just learned what Deadnaming is.

  22. @scribus GTA SA is super bad about this, speed runners usually resort to killing themselves to warp to hospitals around the state but even then the boundaries dictating where you respawn don’t make as much sense as people like, especially in the countryside portions of the game, where it’s essentially a crapshoot figuring out where you’ll respawn.

  23. @scribus It’s a fake town that’s an amalgamation of several real towns in Northern Virginia, mostly the suburbs around Fairfax and Loudoun counties. Swole Foods itself is based on a real grocery chain based in Maryland. The skyline that you see in the cartoons and some comics is wholly made up and I’m not sure if that’s the town itself or if it’s just a city that you can see FROM the town, like Arlington or something.

  25. I was bored, I spend some time trying to learn what is what in that. I am sorry to say @mrmattimation was not exactly forthcoming with the information. Unless if dogs sniffing crotches is a more common occurrence. @scribus It is WAY more complicated than that.

In short. Alinity posted a video of Luna ( her dog ) sniffing her cooch for a good 8 seconds while she was doing some sort of yoga position on Twitter. Then later deleted it off of twitter, but it was also on her Twitch, which she apparently did not delete or deleted WAY later. this was in week 48 of 2019. Then in week 49 suddenly PETA started to "Demand" that she was going to be banned. She was never banned.

My sources, pretty much, Discord, http://rainbowdash.net/url/875365 http://rainbowdash.net/url/875366 PETA's twitter, This streamer's twitter & twitch.

But we still need some sort of exterminators to come over "Yeah, we have what we professionals call a 'THOT infestation' going on"

Oh, also NSFW warning, not really sure.

Wednesday, 04-Dec-19 09:53:31 UTC from web in context
  29. @scribus That heavily depends on the person really. Heck I have a friend who did a drone obstacle course like that and behaved like a pro. I also have a friend who nearly fell off of her chair after 2 minutes of playing Mario Kart on a huge projector screen.

I have a suspicion that it has something to do with how fast you become queezy after sitting on a merry-go-round.

I believe Brainiac did something like that YEARS ago.
