  2. @scribus So a 'All Summer Long' to 'Sweet Home Alabama' or more of a 'Ice Ice Baby' to 'Under Pressure' kinda thing ?

  3. @drinkingpony @scribus The walls and stuff remind me of a Dwarf Fortress tileset.

  4. @scribus Well that could be either of two Jim's I know really, But I think it was not Carrey in the cartoon of the 90's

{googles} It was Rob Paulsen. And he has Animaniacs TBA for 2020. Hmm. Either awesome or cringe time for cartoon fans.

  6. @scribus Pshh... Sam and Max cartoons were clearly superior to Disney's Gargoyles

  7. @scribus I blame you that I tumbled down a rabit hole and am now watching things like http://rainbowdash.net/url/875296 and contemplating the ethicacy of still calling such a thing ROB still.

After all, if I removed your brain and replaced it with sufficiently adequate technology ( the likes we probably have in some 40 years if things go ahead as scheduled ), would you still be... Well, you know... a video game enthusiast ?

  8. @scribus Oh yeah Gargoyles. I haven't seen that in ages. I wonder how good it still holds up. All I can remember is that it was damn good at its time with a good emphasis on continuity and lore and tragedy.

  11. @scribus Hmm, yes it does, kinda. But I'm afraid I have had way too much experience with ( rabid ) undertale fans where if you even make an 8 bit hairstyle they are going to claim it looks like Frothing mouth for comical effect Undehtaal

  12. @scribus That is very much my prefered style of playing.

The folks that I game with on the big screen when the boss is not looking ( and, you know, after work ) recently told me that they are sort of glad that the guy with the big screaming mouth is gone. Equating him to Chef Ramsay whenever we were playing Overcooked.

  13. @scribus I'm sure Republicans will be pleased with the precedent they're setting ten years from now when a Democratic president decides to declare all guns illegal and the Supreme Court says "well, executive privilege and whatnot"

  15. @scribus The more I read about this the more angry it makes me. A large portion of the state got wiped out due to PG&E's negligence.

  16. @scribus Water is wet, sun shines, grass grows, and the moment we find a way to harness the power of stupid for energy production we will never have energy production woes ever again for as long as there are fandoms of THAT caliber.

  18. @scribus Finally got my way 'round to see it. I like it. Though I hope you are prepared to cringe at the influx of people who say that it looks like Undertale ( especially with the reference of the big knife ) since I already found one person who told me that whilst looking over my shoulder.

  19. @scribus That looks really cool! I've been meaning to make a fighting game for my C64, but I keep getting hung up on the title art. Or literally all the art.

  20. @scribus Last time I trusted a book I ended up summoning Cthulhu in power armour...

Never again. Books are evil, the more words the eviller.

  24. @scribus Obviously that’ll never happen, but some states have laws putting all candidates regardless of party on the same primary ballot, and I think we should just.... take away the letter next to their names and force people to actually do mangoing policy research.

  25. @scribus I think I know what you mean. I hope it is not a Huawei.

Actually, I have NO idea what to get when my Huawei finally kicks the bucket.

And I am not just thinking that because Pee-Pee is a funny word used by 12 year olds. I was thinking of Private Pocket's

  28. @scribus Ah, that is sad to hear. Also I never really looked into it but always kinda assumed that the power production grid was mostly in the hand of the states, not individual companies.
