  1. @scribus I actually found an implementation of the servers needed for VoLTE, so I might try that. Doesn't seem like many people have tried it before though. The problem is that both stacks include a home subscriber service. I think I need to pick just one and point the other to it, but since both are semi monolithic I'm not sure if that will be possible.

  2. @scribus That's pretty neat. So the stream comes over 3G network and gets blasted over FM?

  4. @scribus I've binged it all in one sitting. I totally forgot that the season was split in half and got annoyed when I reached the end.

  5. @scribus sleeping is better. Enjoying it well refreshed makes the difference. I once tried to watch a series very close to bedtime and missed half of it unconcious.

  6. @scribus I was sorta thinking of turning my RPI 3 into a google-less chromecast. No idea if it will work well though. Then I will get a RPI 4.

Though maybe I got my numbers messed up now. Dangit, I will have to go through a drawer of junk to make sure.

  8. @scribus Well... I'm not that interested in reading romance stories. And to be completely honest: It was super bland despite of the romantic contents. It was a happy-go-lucky thing with a sudden villain out of nowhere and their shortly developed love SOLVES EVERYTHING. I don't mind other gender identities and their romances but that's not my groove in entertainment. The two mentioned keywords had me warned beforehand not to grab that because the likelihood of encountering such a story would have been very high (and is now at a 100% certainty in this case).

  9. @scribus Yes, I know what you mean. Everyone knows someone that will vaguely fit that description. Someone might even tell me that my description is wrong to an extent. Does not matter much though, I just pretty much found a group that identifies themselves as 'crunchies' ( Also modern-day hippies )

Hey, it was on the poster ( that looks like an 8 year old made it in MS-Paint with a stamp-plugin ).

    I blame the Baader-Meinhoff phenomenon.

  10. @scribus Well, if I cut out all the nasty, it is not that nasty... ( wow, that might be the dumbest thing I have ever said )

But just think of the most stereotype "Hardcore Christian, hardcore recycle, 'My opinion is better than anyone elses'-spouting, knitting needles toting" mom you can think of.

    Well, yeah, in that light it does not sound bad. Untill either of the following happens ;

A : Little Timmy discovers the Internet ( and search engines )

B : Vaccination rollout day at school ( because that is not a hot button topic in the modern world )

C : Little Timmy is not happy with the thick sheep-wool socks he got for his birthday ( Since Little Timmy wanted a NINTENDO SIXTYFOUR ( http://rainbowdash.net/url/875271 ) )

  11. @scribus Aw man, and I just learned why the 'stay crunchy' is a terrible ad campaign because of the 'crunchy moms'

  12. @scribus Goes to show criminals aren't usually that smart. Bitcoin isn't anonymous by nature, but it's possible to remain anonymous if you're careful.

  15. @scribus Reminds me of the South Park from last night, where Cartman insisted he couldn’t live under the same roof as his mother anymore... and evicted her.

  16. @scribus I feel like I can not comment on that because I have not seen the latest episode and something with a love interest could happen or something.

Regardless, yeah, I'd like Twilight to start her own family of bookwormish-nerds at least somewhere in the future.

  18. @scribus Yeah but ironically MLP ended up being pretty much the only series to endure out of the ones we were all thinking of at the time. Littlest Pet Shop: Cancelled. Over the Garden Wall: Over. Gravity Falls: Over. Steven Universe: Who even knows. Rick and Morty: anathema to thinking people. Adventure Time: Over.

  19. @scribus I finished the game as a true pacifist and then played deltarune. I've gotta admit, I've always hated top-down style SNES kinda rpg's but the story in this game was just over. The. Top. You should revisit it if you can.

  23. @scribus What's in a name ? That which we call a sledgehammer would still break yo grape by any other name.

And if we are talking about the drink you can add "and smell just as sweet"

  24. @scribus Silly Scribus. 1 part Lime Juice, 2 parts OJ, and 9 parts Vodka ofcourse.

Though I have seen some bartender make one with 1 part Cognac, 1 part Light Rum, 1 part Calvados, and a dash of Pastis once... There are strange people in this world.

  27. @scribus Sorry about that. I feel you to some extent. I'm starting to realize that my anxiety may actually be a brain issue and not something I can just talk myself out of. Realizing that has helped me be a little kinder to myself and prevent it from spiraling out of control a little bit. I should probably be on medication, but everything I've been prescribed before has made me feel slightly dead inside.

  28. @scribus The individual mandate did get repealed, you technically aren’t required to have healthcare anymore.

Thursday, 10-Oct-19 19:15:45 UTC from web in context
  29. @scribus I'm probably wrong about this, but I thought Spraytan lifted the individual mandate while simultaneously sabotaging some of the good parts of Obamacare as well.

  30. @scribus Their problem with it was that it WASN’T a joke about the controversy. His name was dropped as a payoff to an EARLIER joke in the script that had really nothing to do with politics at all and was more a joke about the setting and the unique circumstances of Virginia’s statewide offices, some of which are not actually full time jobs (our Lieutenant Governor also works for a law firm, for example). The joke was written days before the controversy broke.
