Seeing a lot of CalArts posts on my Tumblr dash and I'm on the fence on the matter. On the one hand I really like those cartoons and they are obviously visually distinct from each-other, on the other hand I can't excuse the toothy-grinned expression that they all have.

@scoot Now fans just have to wait forever for MHX. Although I have more than enough games to tide me over, the new Fire Emblem alone is eating up a ton of my free time.

@northernnarwhal I'll be playing the new FE when I have some money to spare, so probably not for a good while. Hopefully I'll get employed soon after I graduate and I'll be able to buy games again.

Listen, Adobe, if you just appleing optimized the program, Animate would be GOLDEN. Literally every issue I've had with it so far has been related to its insane RAM usage.

@scoot I actually had to pirate it because, according to an Adobe customer service representative, it is a known issue that their programs do not play nice with antivirus software, so my free 30 day trial was over before I started it. Then they wouldn't fix it and instead told me to buy a Cloud subscription to fix the problem. It's INFURIATING how buggy it is, because they finally fixed the brush tool for the most part.

@mrmattimation Wow amazing. CC's support and account management is terrible, I wish I didn't need these programs tbh.

@scoot Adobe is too integrated into my workflow, I don't think I'll ever be able to leave. The standard interface is ingrained in my mind.

@scoot Oh sweet, those were both great games. If you liked Awakening you'll for sure like Fates too, personally I think I may already prefer Fates despite loving Awakening. If you want Hana make sure to get Birthright as she's a unit in the Hoshido story.

@scoot It's okay, I can understand the busyness and don't at all hold it against you for not being here often. I am glad to see you whenever you're around though, I have lots of respect for you as a person and love your art. It's troubling to hear you're going through so many troubles, and I want you to know it's not your fault. Depression just sucks the motivation right out of you, and anxiety doesn't help work ethic at all. I know the despondency and exhaustion, and college has made me really in tune with my own powerlessness lots of the time. I spend lots of my time at mine too, which has led to lots of stress. I guess I'm probably not helping too much, but I guess what I'm trying to say is I understand all too well, and hope for the best for you cause you deserve it.

@scoot You do you. You can't change someone by whining at him or her that you dislike something about him or her anyway. You just hope that things will work out in the better for them sooner rather than later. Although tactical buttkickings should always remain an option should someone ONLY decide to focus on the negatives, which is especially annoying when things are actually going well.
