While there's nowt going on at work, I might as well ask: those of you who use IRC, what clients do you use? Trying to gauge which would be best to look into first for a little side project of mine.

(That is, I am /not/ looking for an IRC client to use - I'm quite happy with weechat - but rather, for which ones are in widest usage.)

@bitshift At my own desktop, weechat. XChat-WDK when I used to use Windows. Mibbit when I am on any other desktop. I'd have something on my phone, but that's sort of out of commission. Otherwise it would be a standalone client or more likely I would have SSHed in.

@mrdragon I enjoy it. Buggy as all crap though. Expected of course since it's still deep in alpha and missing loads of features. What's there now is pretty fun though, once you get a handle on how everything works. "Getting it" is fairly simple, just download it from their website (or install it from your package manager).

So get this, my friends started playing Guild Wars 2 almost 2 months after me. Instead of asking what world I was playing on at the time they chose a world together. Now if I want to go play with them it is going to cost me 1000 gems... Which boils down to about 12 Euro's ... For some reason my will to play this game any further dropped into my shoes, or probably below that *sigh*
