The thing about text-based FiM based RP is that people get so caught up in their vivid (and often drastically differing) mental imagery that they forget the ponies are in a toy/cartoon universe. HOW DO THEY HAVE SCARS SHOWING THROUGH FUR they're a cartoon HOW CAN THEY SMASH LIKE MARSHMALLOW AND LIVE They're a cartoon WHERE ARE THEIR GENIT- they're a plastic toy.

@hakupony Be cause the niche will be so niche-y, that in comparison to the non-existence of everything else, you'll be GODLY. (Until more people see the niche and start addressing it. In which case you'll be praised for giving people a hook into what they never knew they wanted. :D)

@retl The problem is that I don't want to raise any praise. Of course I would be happy if people enjoyed my art but if it weren't up to what I wanted it to look like, I would still hate it when everypony praised it.

Proud new owner of a gigantic inflatable bunny. Naturally, I'm not going to keep this thing out and about all the time. But the amount of work involved inflating it makes me consider that option.

@abigpony I wouldn't be surprised if it were a repost of something I drew. Though there's a few nice things I saw on Ponibooru before they announced their end. Not a lot of it seemed to migrate to Derpibooru, but it still floats around.

@minti The power bloat only got crazier with the introduction of Ultimate (90) gear. But. Low-level play with friends and stuff on normal/hard is a good time.

So here's the funny thing. Visually, FiM is only getting better. But I am more hyped for the comic than Season 3. I also like watching the Mentally Advanced Series and Rainbow Dash Presents more than rewatching Season 2. Season 1 still makes me smile, but I've seen it so many times that I want something new. So ultimately, I'm looking to fans to bring the next cool thing (yet have no faith that they will).

I know sometimes it becomes a hellish place here, but that's more human nature than your fault. It's impossible to always get 100% along with each other. But still, in general, I think this is one of the best managed communities I've seen in a while. Sure, sometimes things happen that upset others, but that doesn't mean this place is terrible. The site is quite usable, the moderation seems to be about right (neither too extreme, nor so soft it becomes like 4chan) and all-along this is one of my favorite places to be. I know that most of you don't often hear what you deserve to hear, so I will speak it out loud: Thank you, all of you, for making this place possible. I'm happy it exists, even though I may sometimes sound like I'm not. RDN is a great place, and I don't want it to disappear at all, it became like a second home

My likely very cheesy individual thank yous to the admins: @mrdragon, You have always tried to figure out the best way possible to make RDN a great community, and in my opinion, it is. its probably the only community like it that i have stayed more "permanantely" in. @colfax whenever i see someone is RPing on here, and im about to show them to the RP site, I always notice that you already have done so. No rule is broken without a notice from you. @ceruleanspark though we always blame you when the site breaks, you always fix it. then people just ignore you. I wouldnt know the first thing about site coding, so i have alot of respect for ya. @purpletinker Im not really sure if you still are very involved with the site, but from what i remember, you used to be, so thanks for that. @cabal Well, your cabal. What can i say, you made a great decision to create this site. To all: I joined this site exactly 3 months, 4 weeks ago. 120 days. Arguably, this is the best website i have ever been on.

Y'know. Pokey Pierce shows up at Diamond Tiara's Cutieceanera in Call of the Cutie (the balloon popping scene), and the children's school talent show in The Show Stoppers. Then later in season 2, we see a similar pony (May not be the same one, though. Perry?) Off in Canterlot. If it's the same guy, he really gets around! If not, then o.o maybe associating his safety pin with children is on to something.

Rule #1 of oven cooked cheese-filled product: Do not eat cheese filled product immediately after turning off the oven. It is probably still hot. And by hot, I mean hotter than habanero. Hotter than the molten core of the Earth. Hotter than the surface of the sun that keeps us alive bask in the torture of its reliant subjects when it feels a sunstorm coming on. Hotter than raw unprocessed rainbow right from the factory, consumed at the core of the Earth while on fire, mixed with habanero so darn hot that it got its own rainbow-sun cutie mark for being so hot. And the worst part is you can't get the hot cheese off. At least not before the damage is done to your flesh. Good thing I spent all this time writing this post instead of eating it, though. Should be cool enough to actually eat noOOOWWAAAAHHHHH
