If you're watching today's episode of On March 3, 1969 the United States Navy established an elite school for the top one percent of its pilots. Its purpose was to teach the lost art of aerial combat and to ensure that the handful of men who graduated were the best fighter pilots in the world. They succeeded. Today, the Navy calls it Fighter Weapons School. The flyers call it: TOP GUN., please be considerate of other users and use the tags "spoiler" or "spoilers" for your episode discussion for the 48 hour period after the episode's US broadcast. This includes those of you who may have seen the early release. Thanks!

I take issue with English pop punk band Busted and their 2002 hit single "Year 3000" for its logical flaws. For example, they state that not much has changed, but immediately after stress that we live underwater. Secondly, their grasp of time is shaky; they expect my family lineage to reach to great great great granddaughter after 1000 years. Are children born really late into their parents' lives in the future? Thirdly, after 1000 years they anticipate releasing seven albums. In their first five years as a band they released two albums. This suggests a preposterously slow creative output. Next, their seventh and latest album is projected to outsell the entire Michael Jackson discography. This is a unrealistic and boastful expectation. Fifthly, a verse states that they "went to the future / in the flux thing". Even a casual viewing of Back to the Future would yield the knowledge that the flux capacitor is a device, not a travel machine. Busted also states that triple breaste
