@redenchilada They're an indie folk band from the 90s whose second album (In The Aeroplane Over the Sea) is really widely regarded as a classic even to this day. They're kinda divisive in that the massive amounts of praise they've gotten have given them this sort of cult status that as of late has become somewhat memetic, though there's no denying the staying power of the music itself. I think they're great, but your mileage will vary depending on your enjoyment of really rough heart-on-sleeve folk music.

If any of you ever decide to wash windshields on a street corner, don't be like the guys I pass by on the way to/from work. If someone tells you not to wash their windshield, listen to them. Don't make them drive through the intersection literally blind because you can't follow directions. Thank you.

@skellythos I can at least admire then for actually working instead of just begging for money, but ignoring requests to stop isn't how you get people to spare some change.

@redenchilada I dislike them because of that. They don't walk up to you and ask you if you want to hire them, they just do the job (usually really poorly) and then demand payment.

@redenchilada Yeah but I mean Solid Snake was in, what, a Gamecube remake of the first MGS game? So they throw in a third party character now and then who isn't really closely associated with Nintendo, big whoop.

@northernnarwhal You know, the funny thing about that is that a lot of details from MGS4, a PS3 exclusive, were included into Brawl.... Before MGS4 was released. Kojima himself worked with the devs.

@redenchilada Usually if no one picks up a package, the mailman/delivery guy leaves a paper confirming the delivery in your mailbox, and you can take that to the local office of the mail or whatever to get the package.

@yodelerty Yeah, SotC is definitely not for everyone. It's a really idiosyncratic game with really specific goals, so if you don't connect with it emotionally you probably won't like it.
