  3. @mrmattimation He looked next to death when he was rambling about how "one day, like a miracle, coronavirus will just go away." Pretty sure Mike Pence is eating his life force in an attempt to become a real boy.

  4. @mrmattimation I saw it on sale for £10 so I figured at that price, if I at least got some funny stories out of how busted it was, I’d have broken even, but now I’m level 30 and drugging new players with unlabelled Nukashine

  5. @mrmattimation So, there's this coffee shop in Hollywood that serves a "Turbo-Coke," a double espresso and a half-litre of Mexican Coca-Cola, that is somewhat less expensive than a hotel

  6. @mrmattimation Yes. Yes, they are. Even a sidewalk tent fetches a lovely premium over an underpass shopping cart.

  7. @mrmattimation I had a trip to Santa Monica a few years ago and it was $150/night for a crappy room a block away from the beachfront with no air conditioning or breakfast.

  9. @mrmattimation But when the forced narrative of interference interferes itself, it becomes self-fulfilling interfering! So, cubed now?

  10. @mrmattimation One of the best parts of working in a school cafeteria, aside from it being a pretty chill job with mostly decent coworkers.

  11. @mrmattimation yup that tracks. when I came out (almost 10 years ago now dang!) i used the term "pan" because i think it also had an air of "personality over body" or whatever and even now i have friends who will use that term over "bi" when referring to me which is neat i guess, but honestly neither term feels right for me in my dumb head so i sort of just don't call myself anything these days

  12. @mrmattimation @scribus I think ultimately it's a semantic difference more than anything. some people interpret "bi" as a term that excludes enby/intersex folks but this is obviously not necessarily true - for some people it might just be more convenient as it's pretty widely understood, or it might just sound better to them. "pan" is a more recent prefix to sound more all-encompassing, but this will inevitably be subject to confusion and the same joke over and over. i don't think either term is inherently exclusionary (although i do think most terms for sexuality are clunky and outdated at this point) and it kind of just comes down to what word you prefer the sound/feel of and how you want to present yourself

  13. @mrmattimation I think it'd make more sense to deliberately screw it up and call her Rodan

  14. @mrmattimation I'm kinda with you, here. Like, shouldn't a Bi at least not be into intersex or enby or something to justify two terms? I feel like Pans are saying "any and all" and Bis are "any and there are only two to choose from." But, I also kinda think that clearly can't be right? I dunno...

  15. @mrmattimation But yeah, it does do a good job of not tasting like energy drink. I remember there being a Red Bull Cola like fifteen years back that tasted like alkaline butt.

  20. @mrmattimation Are you on HR's "good" side, at least? I have a suspicion things like this tend to come down to whether or not they already want to change the roster.

  22. @mrmattimation potentially EVEN CHEAPER, lazier, and faster than the actual OG Squigglevision was - this is one single drawing, modified by a random seed in Adobe After Effects, which can be saved into a preset and applied to virtually any animation footage of any frame rate at any screen resolution with a single click - boil rate and intensity can be easily modified with a few clicks too. It’s like an instagram filter or something like that.

  25. @mrmattimation Attachment. Jedi code didn't specifically outlaw going out whoring, just relationships. A jedi that doesn't give a single thought about an individual after having sex won't prioritize that individual's well being above mission or the jedi order, but one that has a wife and genuinely loves her will be hard pressed to put the order first even with very good reasoning as to why they should. There was even one high ranking jedi that was allowed officially to have concubines due to being one of the few last males of his species.
Also in the case of padme, statutory rape maybe, we don't know the age of consent in coruscant.

  29. @mrmattimation Still normal amounts, this guy just put down the money to buy all the magazines instead of the usual two or three mags + a cardboard ammo box to reload. 1000 9mm rounds are like $150 over the counter, so the guy probably spent like 15 bucks in bullets if reloading.
