@darcyblue Didn't notice this until now, but I live in BC. I ordered it off Big Bad Toy Store as soon as pre-orders went live, they shipped to Canada.

@thunderdash oh! I was never aware of where they came from. I only saw them on a think geek. email newsletter and how they where unable to ship outside the USA. so now that I know this other information I may go and look for this portal gun.

!college !calgary Just got my class schedule for next semester, which starts on september 4th. Friday looks ugly. 8-5 with only a 1-hour break at 1 pm. || Can't complain about thursday, though. 4 hours total, counting the 1 hour break. Everything else is average || Still miss 1st semester when we started late on mondays and left early on fridays.

!vgp so I bought Gotham City Imposters. its a fun game with nearly endless combinations for loadout slots. HOWEVER even getting into a game is another matter whatsoever. getting dropped by the server is a more then common issue and finding players in matchmaking can be a chore with the ammount of connection drops from the servers I've found. hopefully they patch that. other then that its a fantastic game

!Calgary I did heartily enjoy the games night and would favor more events like that in the future (just got Cards Against Humanity, if anypony is up for that. It's purposefully offensive in nature, but can be fun given the right group). There is actually a Munchkin tournament in town on the 28th if anypony is interested.

!calgarybronies Hey bronies! So its about that time of year again...and I would like to host a second annual BBQ! So who would be interested as I will need to make a tentative list to ensure everypony gets fed. I would like to host it around the same time as as last year (1st week or so of September) so as to give lots of time to those of you who might have to make arrangements with work. Please let me know if there is interest and I'll get to booking it. I was very happy with the location as well so Bowness park is where it will be. I should *hopefully* have a car for the date some I can pick up some bronies early if you want to help set up. The exact date and place will be posted later...just want to see if there is an interest <3

!vgp wtf Nintendo! I go out of my way this weekend to get a network cable to hook my Wii to the internets only to come home frustrated finding out it has no network cable port. so now I have to find a LAN adapter just so I can make use of the 4000 Nintendo Wii points I bought! and I'm having a hell of a time finding one. no luck yet. really wish I had help obtaining one in my town. so I only want to tell Nintendo to STOP BEING DUMB!

@noir dont worry noir. you where a jerk in the game. and there is something we like to call that. its "never do your enemy a small favor". which is a good thing. so no worrys. i do not expect less. as for the bending of the cards. just try your best not to. its usaly frowned upon when on loan of other peoples things. but no worrys. good to know you had fun.i think im planning on doing another game night inthe future to mix things up

!calgary Stampede was fun today, went to the 330 MLP show, it was the same as last year though, which was kinda expected(not to mention messed up and/or creepy because of the costumes). I saw some people from the group from a distance but i was with another friend so i didnt come talk to any of you guys. had some fun none the less watching the hypnotist before the show.

@aju1ceb0x I never myself liked the hypnotist. he has been doing the same skit since I was a kid at the stampede.

!calgary Speaking of M:TG and tommorow's game night: today is M13 launch day. I just picked up my fat pack, and I'm going to bring it, unopened, to see if anyone's interested in playing draft. Would be cool if someone else brought (or bought) a second pack. More cards = more players = more fun.

@noir I told you it's fine. I'm not a collector, so I don't really care about condition. It wasn't bent that badly (in fact, I have two copies of that card, and I can't even tell which one was bent). Besides, it's only worth 10 cents anyways. Bring more of those cookies next meetup and we'll call it even.

@noir Depends how you get them. Intro packs (~$14) come with a 60-card deck and a 15-card booster pack, and are meant to be a casual starting point that you can add to later. || Event decks (~$25) come with a 60-card deck and a 15-card sideboard, and are meant to be good enough to jump straight in and play semi-competetively. || There's also the Deckbuilder's Toolkit (~$20), which comes with a mix of 225 cards plus four 15-card booster packs that you can use to build your own decks.

!Calgary OK so a note to all. next meetup will be a game night. I'll be trying to bring good pickup games. I'll see how much I can stuff in my bag. I most likely will be bringing the games Lunch money, munchkin cthulhu, kittens in a blender, Elixir, quarriors, and a few other choice games. M:TG PLAYERS. I will be bringing a few of my decks and offering help to people who want/need it. please come to the meetup around 5 and I'll help start you off on a good note. ALSO when I get home I will be puchaceing a projector screen online. and hopefully this weekend I will have time to get a one time use credit card to buy a micro projector I have my eyes on that is perfect for the meetup.
