I became a brony around July 8th. My friend on my favorite game had shown me a video from MLP on Youtube. Was funny, awesome. I then realized why people liked the show. I am now a super brony, love it, know it. I just need to learn to show it more in the real world.. I sometimes feel like the only Brony in Iowa. I lived in Las Vegas 9 years, now in Iowa. I am an Advanced Graphic Artist. 5 years experience. That's about it :]

@Zach, well from my earlier posts I already said. About my dad saying I like a girly show, and making me not make MLP Graphic Art anymore.. otherwise he'll take away my laptop.. Why can't I like what I want to like.. it really sucks. He doesn't want to understand.

@widget Yes, he was explaining that. I love MLP quiet a bit.. apparently that's what idolizing means. How on earth can I convince him...? I like MLP because it cures me from the depression I had of a new life, the only child. I miss my little bro and sis. @nerthos I lol'd so hard. I may actually do that!

@echo I don't. lol. I actually became Christian myself. My dad says liking MLP this much doesn't show I love God at all. When I really do. I have a balance of art for both MLP Art and my Christian Art.

@echo Ah, so many people tell me to create a DeviantART. I don't have any places at the moment. Perhaps I may make one. It glows my heart you actually like my art! @tekkdan Yeah.. pretty much. Why can't I make stuff I LIKE to make? My dad is religious.. and says I need to make more stuff for God. The thing is, I do. I just happen to show the MLP side more. It ticks him off.

Ever since I moved out of Vegas with my mom, leaving my little bro/sis to live with my Dad in Iowa.. my life has been lonely. Today, a lonely day.. I take my first city bus to get home. I know. I don't care what anyone thinks of me. I love MLP, and proud of it. It kinda sucks I can't post/create as much MLP Graphic Art as I did.. otherwise my laptop gets taken away. That's just cold.. just because of something I like. Thanks to this website, I'm finally able to talk to others that also love MLP.. and get help like this situation. Ugh.

I need help.. brony help. I cannot convince my dad MLP is not for just "Little Girls" like the 80'S. He says he's ashamed in me for liking MLP, and using my Graphic Designing skills to make pony art and posting them on Facebook. He's ashamed to see me not be ashamed that I'm a brony.. I told him MLP is a huge fandom, many guys like it, there's Pony Dubstep, Trance, Rap, etc. Also amazing art.. nothing convinces him.. Any idea how to explain to your parents about MLP?
