The meet-up is officially Saturday at noon in the hotel lobby (if we need to relocate after, we'll find somewhere.) Another smaller meet-up can optionally occur Friday at 8pm in the lobby, and tentatively Sunday around 12pm at the local mall's food court? I'll be bringing a few con-exclusive sculpts/mods for raffle/sale/show off to anypony interested btw =P And if I'm feeling real creative, I'll have a few little games/events established with some little pony merch prizes. I have a final article due next week for one of my classes, and really wanted to do it over Bronies/what it means to be a brony. @scribus I would like it to be fairly local, but it doesn't really have to be! Email/Phone interviews would work just fine! I'd like to keep it in the Midwest area though.

!iowabronies I can't say I know much about the Coralville/Iowa City area (beyond, y'know, the existence of the Coral Ridge Mall in the former and U of I in the latter). Any thoughts on a likely non-con site?

!iowabronies @secretpony I, uh, strongly suspect you may be pleasantly surprised. Especially if you wait a month or two for students to get organized. I think the idea right now is just to get something worked out for during Anime Iowa, though, especially as it's likely to have a number of bronies who don't necessarily frequent the fan sites as much.

@stormvision In Coralville, as far as I know, there's not a good place for just hanging out other than the mall. If going to Iowa City is an option then I would suggest downtown somewhere. There's a bunch of neat stuff and some cool coffee shops and the like.
