@astra Exactly. The way I see it ,if they can get the little girls who (with all due respect) don't know any better about the merchandise and older Bronies buying them I can only see gain to be had there.
-
@astra Indeed. However, @princessluna has managed to give me hope that Hasbro are indeed aware of us, and I just hope this may one day lead to merchandise that someone of my age would feel proud to have on their desk and willing to spend the money on. (read the little conversation we had, this is the notice that kicked it off) http://rainbowdash.net/notice/509596

@astra I have read through it. I think the ionospheric retention that you note might be due to deep crustal radon-release as a result of the plate movements. It's probably not something novel like a massive piezoelectric effect.
-
@astra Heee! G'mornin cutie pony! Posted some more scribbles last night. :)
-
BTW @astra, good to see you around on here again! ^^
-
@astra Yeah, that is pretty much my exact sentiment. Hasbro probably make enough money off of the intended audience and just settle for the poor designs they put on shelves. It's a shame really, I'd love to have a set of the main 6 characters in true to show detail on my desk.

@astra Well, I didn't die, and it's nearly the end of the work day for me, so I'm doing OK.
-
@astra Hey Astra! How are you doing?
-
@astra You're pretty lucky that you live someplace you can see the stars. There's too much light pollution in this town. I remember when I lived in the countryside and I could see everything though.
-
@astra Got your text message, btw. Ill respond back in a bit :)
-
@astra How you doin', girl? :)
-
@astra well done
-
@astra Yup. It'll be centered around a power smart grid system, so this will be interesting. No worries, I'll be nosing in from time to time. Can't just leave the friends I've made here hanging, like yourself. :)
-
@astra Er, that it WON'T take long. (Boy, do I hope that isn't a prophetic Freudian slip.)
-
@astra Ah, right ^^
-
@astra Huh? ^^;
-
@astra Those two things should prove pretty handy as well. :) So a two year project? I wish you the best in it. Hopefully it comes out perfectly. What kind of project are you working on? Haha, I'm going to enjoy it for as long as I can. This year will be loaded with my upper-division classes and my senior project.
-
Well, I've been so busy I haven't even had time to get to @Astra's messages yet.
-
@astra Indeed. Well, I got there in the end I suppose XD
-
@astra (*knock on wood*) Hopefully everything turns out well for you. Sounds like some stressful work...if only you also had your own Spike as an assistant to help organize. But, always glad to hear you are doing well. :) Well, this week will be my last to enjoy some relaxation. Next week I resume my classes (the 22nd to be precise) so it's time to get everything I need and prepare myself for some intense studying.
-
@astra Great to hear from you. :) How have you been?
-
@astra Aloha! I can should even louder, really! ^.^
-
@astra Thanks ^^
-
@astra Most likely.
-
@astra heh, true ^^; Well, after being delayed getting on the bus due to the !Midlandsbronies, getting most of the way there and finding I had forgotten a key item, had trouble getting back, missed a bus due to a lack of change, and the second one had SOME, but I had to use all of my silverware, 20ps, 2p's etc, if I had had 1p less I would have been buggered. I get back, collect the item needed, wait 20 minutes to get the bus, and FINALLY after that point nothing else went wrong.
-
@astra Should I feel bad for not getting how this relates to rotation's worry, even as a joke? ^^;
-
@astra He's worrying about it for some silly reason, it's just a meet up where people will be drinking, chatting etc. What could go wrong?
-
@astra Oh hey Astra! What's up!
