  1. @awlderpy @northernnarwhal Plus it's a great excuse to crack jokes at other people.

  2. @awlderpy That's the idea I guess, I try my best to fit in and it occasionally works.

  3. @awlderpy I'm not really athletic and usually don't play sports but I guess I like watching some of them. It's entertaining and it's fun to have a favourite team you root for and identify with when talking to other fans.

  4. @awlderpy Oh man, I think if I had my own car entered in a rally it would be pretty fun. I guess I never got into too many sports but hockey is definitely part of the culture up here in Canada and my dad is really into it. I'm a casual baseball fan as well.

  5. @awlderpy Ah, I could never get into that. I guess I can appreciate from an uninformed perspective that a lot of mechanics knowledge goes into it, but given my lack of knowledge in the field all I see are cars driving around fast, despite knowing there's definitely a lot more to it.

  6. @awlderpy It's probably my favourite sport to watch, although that might just be the Canadian in me talking.

  7. @awlderpy I just finished watching the hockey game, and I'm happyto see Montreal win the round 2 series against Boston. And while I'd love to see them win the semis too, at this point I'm just happy they beat the Bruins because of how dirty a team Boston is.

  8. @awlderpy I've been meaning to start watching the show again but whenever I try to I usually either get bored or never get around to it at all.

  9. @awlderpy Victory!

  10. @awlderpy I'm not even sure if I am a brony anymore, when asked these days I just say "I'm a casual fan of the show" because I'm not intensively devoted to it.

  11. @awlderpy I haven't even been keeping up with the show, and this is the only pony site I still come back to. The community is just really great in this weird, twisted way.

  12. @awlderpy I guess that's what lots of us (well, me anyway) joined this site. Just looking for friendly conversation.

  13. @awlderpy I can't recall any time you've said anything that has hurt me or even what I would consider rude, so I guess I'm just basing this on personal experience. I know where you're coming from though, I'm bipolar and can usually keep everything bottled up but sometimes I just have these bursts where I get incredibly emotional and start thinking and acting incredibly illogically.

  14. @awlderpy Aw, thanks. That really means a lot. You see, you're really kind too. Another reason I have so much respect for you.

  15. @awlderpy I think you're just great to talk to. You're very intelligent but also very approachable (well, at least from my perspective anyway)

  16. @awlderpy I'm actually very humbled, I have a lot of respect for you.

  17. @awlderpy Yeah, I definitely need to be able to just find a good balance where I give myself enough time to just relax but not too much that I feel as though I'm being counterproductive.

  18. @awlderpy I feel like at the same time if I spend every waking moment working I forget to just live a little and end up getting really exhausted and depressed.

  19. @awlderpy All the time. I'll start reading up on philosophy then I'll take a break to study music theory and halfway through that end up going to work on physics. The worst part is when I try to focus on everything at once I end up getting less done.

  20. @awlderpy I think after all the time I spent thinking last summer I grew to realize something. I'm afraid of being comfortable, because comfort is the illusion of having nothing to do. But I know there's always something I could and/or should be doing, but I need to give myself the motivation to do it.

  21. @awlderpy I second that. Our lives are the longest things we'll ever experience first hand and yet they feel so incredibly short and insignificant.

  22. @awlderpy That's true, plus my mom knows fluent Italian so I could ask her for help. My main barrier these days has been time, as I've been spending a lot of time working on all the different sciences for school as well as practicing and listening to music.

  23. @awlderpy One of these days I should start learning a third language, I've been thinking about picking up Italian for a while now.

  24. @awlderpy It's neat how languages all seem so different but all borrow from each other here and there.

  25. @awlderpy oh, another dumb thing about portugese is that it uses the ç letter, but refuse to put it in the alphabet

Thursday, 15-May-14 01:18:11 UTC from web in context
  26. @awlderpy Oh, that makes sense. I guess it would be like all of us calling each other "sir" or "mister/miss" on here. Formal, but only necessary depending on the context.

  27. @awlderpy well, people say it is hard to learn, i cant say for sure because i've been surrounded by it since i wa sborn

Thursday, 15-May-14 01:14:47 UTC from web in context
  28. @awlderpy Hm, I didn't know that. In that case, is the informal singular actually still necessary?

Thursday, 15-May-14 01:13:02 UTC from web in context
  29. @awlderpy but that is real dumb >_>.a weird thing in portuguese is that Você (you) is not a person of the speech, and in old portugese the word for it was "vossa mercê" (a fancy way to say "your mercy")

Thursday, 15-May-14 01:09:09 UTC from web in context
  30. @awlderpy there isnt much a reason to not have a plural you
