@bigpony Eh, I have my issues with it (namely really lousy CG performances and uneven drama) but for the most part I enjoyed Love Live as an charming character driven comedy. It's endearing and usually funny, for what's effectively fluffy comfort food it was pretty fun watching through it.

@bigpony I haven't seen it, but I imagine your enjoyment of it could greatly vary from how invested you already are in Love Live itself as a franchise (and idols as a storytelling vehicle)

@bigpony I missed that when it was in theatres here, I know some friends who saw it though. I heard it was nothing new but a fun victory lap for the series.

@bigpony It's got a bunch of artificial difficulty preventing what should be a fun game to play from being just that. It's like Dark Souls in that it's overrated trash that relies on it for any modicum of difficulty.

@bigpony I would give ToonBoom a try. Its interface doesn't make any god damn sense either but its vector brush tool is very, very nice.

@bigpony I dunno how the guys at Ghibli can stand it, honestly. The brush is WORSE than Flash, the interface is convoluted, some basic features like the toolbar are hidden by default...
