Had to do it in windows because I suck at command line. But now I can't get it running. I followed http://drupal.org/node/161975 but that didn't help me at all.

@schneidmaster I googled ponyspot by accident... there's a ponyspot.com... and it's for horse rides. They don't look like there would be a conflict though, as long as the site is safe for work.

@carcinopony well, it failed to download. (why does it have connection issues when not at work :\ ) But the one under it "mustard" had more stars. And someone that said to be statusnet founder- said it was the one to use. but I can't figure it out. It's the only one that downloaded... wants an 'instance' like 280.status.net or evan.status.net.... How do I add this site?
