  1. The problem with podcasts is people have bad voices, people have crappy microphones, people don't understand recording levels, and people don't understand compression. This is why there are only like five podcasts on the internet that are worth listening to.

    1. @engelhardt Oh, yeah, and the biggest problem is people are boring. People don't realize that dragging a conversation out and acknowledging something they just did is camp and lame. Like, if you say something funny, or have just ended a funny dialogue, don't follow it up with 'Well that was zany!', which so many people do and it's so tacky. Alpha episode of my podcast is going to happen soonly. Ya all are going to listen to it and go 'wtf? This sounds professional and not like it was recorded in someones bedroom over Skype'.

      1. @engelhardt But the bedroom-Skype quality lends an air of authenticity to it. Almost like they're having a voice chat with you or something.
