So after seeing the way Discord looks in Season 2, I kind of feel.... disappointed. Not that he doesn't look like a brilliant character, I just kind of expected him to be a bit less comical.

@madflavors Just kind of more like a male version of Nightmare Moon. Not necessarily exactly the same, but they managed to make her a fearsome villain AND keep her completely serious at the same time. To me, Discord just seems like a prankster, not truly evil, IMO.

@ladestitute Personally... I really like the design... partly because I wasn't expecting it at all! He is kind of an embodiment of the disjointed and chaotic, rather than the stereotypical armoured bad-papayas villain...
