    1. @nightwillow Not really. I mean, it's okay, but I wouldn't call it a "must-play". If you can find it, get System Shock 2 instead. !vgp

        1. @nightwillow Don't get me wrong, BioShock is a good game -- it's just not AS good as people make it out to be. || System Shock 2 sadly isn't on Steam, or much of anywhere except eBay and PirateBay. Basically it's BioShock's predecessor. "BioShock is System Shock 2 underwater, turned into a pretentious art project", is how I would describe the relationship. (System Shock 2 was on a space ship) !vgp

    2. @nightwillow I haven't played it in forever. Fantastic game. Bioshock was the first FPS I ever beat. I was so proud of myself. I haven't played the second one either. I heard the second one wasn't nearly as good. :/ !vgp

      1. @kelou4 Bioshock 1 had a better plot, but 2 had much improved gameplay. That's typically what people are referring to when they say the first was better. If you had fun with it, 2 is definitely worth your time. !vgp

        1. @vesperline Really? I heard that the gameplay of 2 was no different than the first, and actually got boring after awhile because there was no compelling story to back it up. !vgp

          1. @kelou4 Well, it is a sequel. So its essentially going to be the same game with some tweaking. All around the combat is improved. The most notable change is having both plasmids and weapons available at the same time, instead of switching back and forth. Sounds minor, but its the little conveniences that can make the biggest diff. And while the story definitely isn't as compelling, its by no means horrible. If you liked playing the first one I recommend it, but not over entirely new games you might really want to play.
