  1. I've arrived at work. Time for AJ's morning brushie.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:28:30 UTC from TTYtter
    1. @ceruleanspark Do you use the provided comb, or an alternative?

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:29:24 UTC from web
      1. @pawnheart I use the little yellow comb that she came with. The tines on a regular comb are too long.

        1. @ceruleanspark I guess part of my brain was saying... this is evidently decorative and non-functional. I still haven't dared try brushing my AJ yet...

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:33:51 UTC from web
          1. @pawnheart No, it's probably the best comb to brushie with. The short, fat tines match the structure of their hair.

    2. @ceruleanspark She's gonna look nice. Does giving brushies relax you?

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:29:50 UTC from web
      1. @pinhooves Yes. :3 It's an activity with no end goal. It's meditative.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:33:33 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
        1. @ceruleanspark Well... the hair is very soft. Very soft. so soft, sosoft.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:34:25 UTC from web
          1. @pawnheart I found AJ's hair is less soft than the hair on Pinkie. I think because AJ's has more plastic fibers to withstand being braided

        2. @ceruleanspark Maybe I should brushie my Rainbow Dash. :3

    3. @ceruleanspark Does she have any/much bed head?

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:32:34 UTC from web
      1. @herbalgreen She does. The ride too and from work makes her all frizzy.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:34:17 UTC from TTYtter
        1. @ceruleanspark Well, I know you'll do a good job of fixing that. :3

    4. @scribus I've only got AJ. She lives by my bed and under my monitor at work. She's nice to have around with her smiling face and her soft mane.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:33:07 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
      1. @ceruleanspark Do you use any product on her mane? I use volumizing mousse on my Dashie's mane, it tends to work really well and keeps her hair soft and styled.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:35:00 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
        1. @starlightbolt I was thinking of using just a little conditioner to try and sort out the frizziness she's picked up from being moved about

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:35:46 UTC from TTYtter
          1. @ceruleanspark It works well for that too, I'd be weary of conditioner though as it tends to stay in the hair and might clump or get sticky, where as mousse combs out.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:38:10 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
            1. @starlightbolt A guide I was reading said conditioner was OK if you only used a very small amount.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:39:13 UTC from TTYtter
              1. @ceruleanspark oh ok I'll have to try that. Mousse worked great are Dash, but isn't quite doing enough for Rarity... Pinkie Pie on the other hand I just frizzed up her hair on purpose XD

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:41:21 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
                1. @starlightbolt They said just put a tiny dab on your finger and rub it into the hair. It's the bad-mane days guide on DeviantArt.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:43:43 UTC from TTYtter
            2. @starlightbolt but mousse is probably easier to apply overall. There's plenty around the house either wya

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:39:45 UTC from TTYtter
              1. @ceruleanspark With Apple Jack you probablly don't need to, but have you tried cutting their hair? I cut my dash's hair and it turned out real well.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:44:35 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
                1. @starlightbolt I need to get the hair into the right style before I can judge if there's too much or not

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:45:20 UTC from TTYtter
                2. @starlightbolt I think her tail might be too long by default.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:45:46 UTC from TTYtter
                  1. @ceruleanspark I think everypony except Rarity have too long of hair, I mainly look at the modding guides on deviant art so I'm no stranger to cutting their hair.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:46:57 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
                    1. @starlightbolt I think once I've sorted AJ's fringe and tied it back properly the length won't be so bad.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:49:15 UTC from TTYtter
    5. @scribus Do it! It looks really good when it dries (oh yeah don't forget to wet the hair first) and plus you can style it and it'll stay that why when it dries :D

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:43:36 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
    6. @scribus ew male chest hair bleh D:

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:55:46 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
      1. @starlightbolt You'd not like me then, I have hair in quite the large amount.

Friday, 23-Sep-11 07:57:00 UTC from web
        1. @mrdragon I like hairlessness... except on the head is fine. Male facial hair looks fine as long as it is well kept XD

          1. @starlightbolt Ah, I have a well trimmed and awaiting styled beard. Something stylish I had in mind for it. I'm also awaiting on getting ready for a large hair colour change on my head, going for a Vinyl Scratch Style ;)

            1. @mrdragon Go for braided viking warrior style beard!

Friday, 23-Sep-11 08:11:57 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
              1. @starlightbolt Oh no, I was thinking a little more upbeat with the hair style I will have.
