  1. Oh, the grace period is over, right? SO HOW ABOUT RARITY'S KARATE MOVES AM I RIGHT

    1. @thelastgherkin She kicked AJ. IN. THE. FACE. That is all I have to say.

      1. @pawnheart She also kicked a manticore in the face 26 episodes prior! # Rarity is a trained martial artist, likely due to personal paranoia and in protection of her person.

        1. @thelastgherkin ...I can believe that actually! But that doesn't stop her having kicked AJ in the face. IN THE FACE. Greyscale or no, that isn't sound.

          1. @pawnheart Eh. It's only Applejack. I'm like, who cares, right? <NYEH HEH HEH>

            1. @thelastgherkin I asked for that.

              1. @pawnheart I kid, naturally.

                1. @thelastgherkin I knooooow! But, tbh, AJ wasn't herself. Nor was Rarity... Which was probably the only reason hasbro allowed it to pass their rigorous "no conflict" guidelines.

                  1. @pawnheart Must... stop... digressingfrom... original... point

                  2. @pawnheart Hasbro has no-conflict guidelines? Huh. Maybe I should give Transformers: Prime and the new G.I. Joe another look.

                    1. @thelastgherkin Somepony was complaining to me about Pink Celestia toys, and I said, "It's Hasbro man, they've been screwing up my Transformers colours for like 25 years." xD

                      1. @jinroh Especially in the Marvel comics!

                        1. @thelastgherkin Oh god yes. Those were hilariously bad sometimes. I'm gonna have to dig some of those out. I also have some storybooks that are especially bad too. Like one uses the toy models rather than the show models. So there's a very ugly looking Megatron on the cover. xD

                          1. @jinroh Oh yes, I've got some of the old Ladybird storybooks. They're awful for toy-accurate artwork.

                    2. @thelastgherkin Well, this may just be for the pony franchise specifically, or at least for those programs they aim at the "pre-pubescent girl" market... which, if you think about it, is patronising and more than a little sexist... Buck it, bring on the grimdark. Its a feminist issue.

                      1. @pawnheart It goes back to the sexuality discussion, actually: destructive play patterns for boys and constructive play patterns for girls. Vice versa it though, and you get early signs of possible homosexuality in later life ETC. ETC. BUT this discussion is boring so let's not have it.

                        1. @thelastgherkin Oop... didn't get that before I continued. I've stopped now! Time to jam my chops with sustenance.
