@ceruleanspark Nah, it's nothing like that. It's just that I drew "Pinkie Pie vs the fourth wall" about eight months ago and nothing I've done since has come close to topping it. Did I peak too early? Should I bother continuing to try? If so, for how long?

@gherkin I think you should keep trying! I like your comics! The way you talk about them makes it seem like they've kind of become an obligation for you, and that might have sucked the fun out of them for you, so maybe you should stop worrying about it for a little while and just draw whatever until something specific comes to mind.

@gherkin Well, doing a strip like that is quite an investment of time and energy, I imagine... Besides, while I think your stuff is awesome, I certainly don't judge you based on your art output. If you judged me on that... I would not rank highly, and boy have I tried. Anyway, thats probably a digression... don't worry about not feeling able to 'do it again'... some other idea, that might be very different, is sure to spark up.

@gherkin as with doing anything in public there is always a chance of that happening. The best you can do there is to learn not to give a grapes and keep on truckin'

@gherkin I think everyone is their own worst critic... I mean, when I actually feel motivated to write/record songs, I end up discarding a good majority of everything I did. This current Mike Doughty covers project I'm working on, may not be done for a while because of how I am with my stuff. But I'm still going to do it and finish it and put it out, no matter how long it takes me.
