@macpony55 Not very long, admittedly. My brother plays a lot of guitar, but I've never shown much interest in it. It's only as of late I've been picking up his acoustic guitar and tried playing a bit.

@macpony55 Yeah, I don't exactly expect to get any good. It's mostly because I don't have anything better to do, so I just pick up the guitar and play for a while. Besides, it'd be cool to know a few songs, and it's pretty fun as well. And I love singing, but I sound like a car crash shoved in a washing machine, so I'm hoping the guitar play will cover my voice a bit. XD

@flaxx I enjoy singing too, only problem is I have no idea if my voice is any good, you think after 4 years of chorus it would be but I honestly can't tell so it'd be risky to try and sing in front of people

@macpony55 Hehe, yeah. I'm guessing it's pretty annoying, but eh, no one has complained yet. :P And besides, I rarely sing louder than the music, so it's probably not that much of a problem.

@macpony55 It's either that, or because no one pays attention to me/listen to their own music. I know I don't sound good when I sing, so it's not that. Or, well, I'm pretty sure, anyway. I've never really recorded myself singing, but from what I've heard I'm not a good singer. Which is a shame, 'cause singing is fun.

@flaxx it is, I've tried recording myself and it usually sounds really bad, but it sounds alright to me when I'm actually doing the singing, so I really don't know, I think recording probably isn't the best way since it does distort the sound a little, what you need is other ponies opinions, all I've got so far is my family and an ex-girlfriend and those would be bias

@macpony55 Well, when I sing, I sound exactly like Serj Tankian. ...In my head. What I really sound like, though, thats' a different story completely. And yeah, I don't think it's a good idea for me to record myself, because I always think I sound retarded when I hear myself recorded. >.> If I did ask my friends, they'd probably say something like "Yeeeaaah, you're *cough* great! lololol" or something more serious like "Dunno about good, but some practice probably wouldn't hurt." The problem is that I don't know how to practice. So for now I just sing and hope it somehow makes it better. XD

@flaxx try challenging yourself if you want to get better, or you could try matching your singing to a piano, that always helps

@macpony55 Ah, yeah, that's kinda what I'm doing. I really gotta practice holding notes, though, 'cause I really suck at that. I often sing along to Serj Tankian songs, though, so I do get some practice there. ^_^
