@seanthesheep Well, depending on location, there might be microbrew beers or fancy imported coffees. There can be a lot to discuss there. Even if it's at a dive, you could go with something like, "Know what would go real good with this?"

@scribusmyers I don't think I trust Evey with booze, so try ideas that work in a coffee place or a living room. They don't necessarily have to be situationally appropriate.

@seanthesheep Well, certain things still go well with coffee. There's always the decor, wherever they are. In public, they could be people-watching: "Get a load of *that* guy."

@scribusmyers I think you're getting too into the setting. The setting is a crutch for the conversation to take place. Think personal things.

@scribusmyers Yeah, they're the beginning of each chapters one and three, and they go on for the week or so between chapter two and three.

@seanthesheep Maybe the conversation is a bit slow & awkward, the other person brings up a perfectly mundane dream they'd had just to talk about something, and it moves from there? Or they bring up something that relates to the dreams - I bought a new ___ or I saw ___ the other day?

@scribusmyers No, that doesn't work either, The dreams are distressing, and Tom brings them up because Evelyn has been talking in her sleep. So far, my plan for the conversation goes thusly [Starting thing] -> Evelyn's adjustment -> The next step -> Evelyn's life before she lost her memory -> Her dreams and nightmares -> Luce and Rose -> [conclusion]
