My brother and sister died in a house fire.
Monday, 31-Oct-11 08:56:58 UTC from web-
@optimus Oh man, you have my condolences
-
@overlordnerthos It happened 12 years ago.
-
@optimus Still, it's a bad thing.
-
@overlordnerthos Yes, my hands got badly burned during it and now they are quite hard to use.
-
@optimus Im not trying to offend you....but are you trollin?
-
@taskmaster I am not, My mother was just crying about it yesterday, because it happened 12 years ago yesterday.
-
@optimus *bows head* im sorry.
-
@taskmaster It is fine, I just wish I was older when it happened so I could have done something about it.
-
@optimus Optimus dont live in regret. Once its done its done.
-
@optimus man, I'm so sorry about that, I really am. I know after 12 years things should be different but... I must be terrible, all my condolences
-
@taskmaster Yes, I know, I already walked down that path, The person who did it is now in prison, I would have preferred him getting the death penalty, a Public one.
-
@purplephish20 Thank you, It is fine.
-
@purplephish20 Yes but it is a good thing he is in prison, Because he is safe, from me.
-
@optimus In my personal opinion. I rather go to sleep knowing they are gunna have NO LIFE in jail.
-
@taskmaster Yes, I would have made him burn, made him suffer.
-
@optimus But then you would be like him. Your better than that.
-
@taskmaster Perhaps, but we all have our times of darkness, I would have just fallen a little farther then some.
-
@optimus Its completely understandable to hate someone that much.
-
@taskmaster It is not just hate, I could never truly hate someone, I have a very passionate dislike towards this person, And I want him to suffer for it is all.
-
@optimus a firecracker is to be put in his mouth once every hour.
-
@taskmaster I can think of a more gruesome punishment, But I do not think anyone would appreciate it if I went into detail.
-
@optimus No exaggeration, the rest of his short life would have been like something out of a horror movie... And he would be in fear...
-
@optimus Best torture? electrodes directly into his nerves. The most pure and intense pain induced by electric signals.
-
@purplephish20 My mother went to go see him the other day, Because he is my father.
-
@optimus ..... Dude... Tell us the whole story before people start forming opinions... That was quite an important detail you missed
-
@overlordnerthos I would rather go a little more physical with him, make him suffer with my own hands.
-
@optimus Bah, you could never inflict the same amount of pain, less without killing him.
-
@purplephish20 His name is Richard, he killed my brother and sister, just so happens to be my father, He killed them because my mother and him got into in argument and thought the only solution was to burn down a house.
-
@overlordnerthos I would start by trying to mentally break him.
-
@optimus I don't think that could be done.
-
@overlordnerthos Hes weak, old, and scared and think it could be done, with enough time.
-
@optimus If he's weak and old then there's no honor in confronting him.
-
@overlordnerthos Yes but seeing his face when he found out who I was would be, Oh so satisfying, knowing that the last child he let live was the one to take him from this world, I would make him be for his forgiveness which I would swiftly deny him.
-
@optimus He would feel like king arthur.
-
@purplephish20 I'm an idealist. I think i can be over others only if i maintain a strict honour code.
-
@overlordnerthos It is hard to think, that the one person you hate the most, the one you do not wish to be, is the one you are becoming most like.
-
@optimus That's what idealism is for. Becoming able to execute vengance without any further corruption.
-
@overlordnerthos Yes, but then idealism itself corrupts and becomes realism and it boils in my belly to think about this.
-
@optimus Honour prevents it.
-
@overlordnerthos I do not have that much honor, I am not a very honorable person.
-
@optimus For me honour is the most important thing a man can have.
-
@overlordnerthos Then what is a man without honor?
-
@optimus Merely a worthless animal.
-
@overlordnerthos A man could be destroyed, toyed with mentally, Family half dead, but without his honor he is just an animal?
-
@optimus Yes. Honour is what prevents a man from doing evil.
-
@overlordnerthos Evil and good are different depending on the person perspective, What you see to be evil could be righteous to another person.
-
@optimus Evil is actually simple. Traitorious deeds, backstabbing, sadism.
-
@overlordnerthos What about the person doing these deed, does he know what he does is evil or is he just mislead or misinformed, perhaps he sees himself doing a good deed.
-
@optimus Misguiding and ignorance are not excuses.
-
@overlordnerthos But ignorance is an everyday thing, Perhaps I just need to rethink the things I say and do.
-
@optimus Ignorance is one of the things i'm more afraid of. Ignorance can be found in every foul deed, war and massacre in history.
-
@overlordnerthos It is because it is so abundant, it almost sickens me to think about it.
-
@optimus Without it the world would run smoothly, but at the same time, without it we would all be gods, and the concept of omnipotence would be neglected.
-
@overlordnerthos Yes but think about it, no more wars, death, perhaps maybe a little verbal violence, wouldn't that be worth the cost?
-
@optimus We're on phylosophy now. Without ignorance the knowledge would be absolute. Absolute knowledge means godhood. And in a field of gods there's no concept of death, violence or war. Absolute beings don't even have those needs, for they are complete. But with more than one absolute entity, there would be no true absolute, because each omnipotence would neglect the other. That means, an static and incomplete universe for eternity.
-
@overlordnerthos So omnipotence would become circular logic and soon crumble in upon itself?
-
@optimus Yes. A omnipotent being in theory could destroy another one, but that second one should be able to whitstand it. And that would mean the end of existence. Of course my ego isn't great enough to think i completely understand godlike beings within a mortal form. That would be simply stupid.
-
@overlordnerthos I see, it is the kind of thing that is difficult to comprehend at times.
-
@optimus It's the kind of thing we as humans and ponies aren't meant to comprehend. They're advanced abstract concepts, and as such we aren't able to try them. And it would be unwise to do it nonetheless.
-
@overlordnerthos Probably would just die in the process.
-
@optimus We would probably erase existence in the process, not just kill ourselves.
-
@overlordnerthos Odd, it is disturbing to think about.
-
@optimus But it's still awesome. I've spent the three last years of my life inmersed in phylosophy and theology, studying the concept and nature of gods as far as i can comprehend, for it's the only thing i think it's worth a lifetime of pursuit.
-
@overlordnerthos Yes, sounds as if you have quite the fulfilling life while I sit here and stew in my own anger.
-
@optimus Do not fool yourself thinking i had a easy life. I just choose knowledge and power over emotion and happyness. It's a bit difficult to psychologically kill yourself to be able to rebuild your mind at will, but it's worth it.
-
@overlordnerthos So you would rather have all the knowledge this world can give other then being happy?
-
@optimus Of course. I have no doubt about it. Happyness is overrated. And with all the knowledge, kiwi, i could just create happyness out of thing air and sell it like fresh bread.
-
@overlordnerthos *thin
-
@overlordnerthos I am a puppet to my emotions always having to do things to make myself happy.
-
@optimus That's exactly why i choose to throw them to a fire.
-
@overlordnerthos Ironic that a fire started my strongest emotion, anger.
-
@optimus Just use it to force yourself to a breakdown and then reconfigure your psyche to be more efficient.
-
@overlordnerthos Emotions are far too strong to be so easily pushed down, suppressed then, broken.
-
@optimus I wouldn't be telling you to do something i wasn't able to do myself.
-
@optimus It's not about supressing it, it's about fueling it until it kills itself.
-
@overlordnerthos Perhaps I should try it.
-
@optimus Still you need to be sure you can retain a degree of rational reasoning. If you don't, you'll simply end in a mental institution xD
-
@overlordnerthos That would not be, pleasurable.
-
@optimus It's like overclock. If you do it right, your pc runs faster. If you do it wrong, your pc dies.
-
@overlordnerthos I see, it could have dire consequences just attempting it.
