@nerthos Nothing ever obeys you perfectly because perfection does not exist. A sword has its flaws as well. Ex, you have to keep oiling it so it does not rust. (drifting)

@nerthos Then you should not of compared a weapon which takes an obvious amount mastery to use and compared it to a long sword. A whip is a practical weapon or it would not be classified as a weapon. In a scenario where both weilders help the same mastery there is no telling what would happen. You cannot assume that a sword would win just like I cannot assume a whip would win. The situation is far fetched because we live in a modern time with much better weapons. I am sure that any battle where a long sword fought a guy with a whip is long lost or is undocumented. I am just saying that a whip is a practical weapon.

@toksyuryel A whip requires skill and it is a defensive/offensive tool with multiple uses.

@nerthos You can walk across the street and not look for cars, praying you dont get hit too, but the risk is still there. If you dont want to look both ways before crossing then that is your thing.
