  8. @nerthos I said it was preference.

Wednesday, 28-Mar-12 12:13:46 UTC from web in context
  9. @nerthos exactly my point when I posted Indy shotting the guy with the sword. We can keep going in circles all night or we can agree that they are both practical.

  10. I swear they do these angles and faces on purpose.

  11. @rotation it's got plot. I like it *shrug*

Wednesday, 28-Mar-12 12:08:56 UTC from web in context
  12. @nerthos Nothing ever obeys you perfectly because perfection does not exist. A sword has its flaws as well. Ex, you have to keep oiling it so it does not rust. (drifting)

  13. @nerthos Which is why you helped me win. A whip is hard to use, but once mastered it is highly effective.

  15. @nerthos you made a bad comparison and I said whips were cool> then the conversation was like WHAT

Wednesday, 28-Mar-12 11:58:41 UTC from web in context
  16. @conventrix Exactly why I posted this

Wednesday, 28-Mar-12 11:57:01 UTC from web in context
  17. @nerthos Then you should not of compared a weapon which takes an obvious amount mastery to use and compared it to a long sword. A whip is a practical weapon or it would not be classified as a weapon. In a scenario where both weilders help the same mastery there is no telling what would happen. You cannot assume that a sword would win just like I cannot assume a whip would win. The situation is far fetched because we live in a modern time with much better weapons. I am sure that any battle where a long sword fought a guy with a whip is long lost or is undocumented. I am just saying that a whip is a practical weapon.

  19. @redenchilada At least you can relate XD

Wednesday, 28-Mar-12 11:45:04 UTC from web in context
  20. @nerthos Or you get your finger whipped off or get your legs wrapped up and get pulled on the ground. Have you ever had your jugular cut open with a whip and bleed to death?

Wednesday, 28-Mar-12 11:41:28 UTC from web in context
  21. @nerthos try and get close to him with aa sword.

Wednesday, 28-Mar-12 11:34:36 UTC from web in context
  22. @toksyuryel A whip requires skill and it is a defensive/offensive tool with multiple uses.

Wednesday, 28-Mar-12 11:31:35 UTC from web in context
  23. @nerthos it all depends on the wielder and the scenario. I think we could both agree it would be an interesting fight.

  24. @redenchilada fair

Wednesday, 28-Mar-12 11:26:00 UTC from web in context
  25. @nerthos I was saying that there is a time and a place for a weapon. All weapons are effective. that is why they are called weapons.

  30. @nerthos You can walk across the street and not look for cars, praying you dont get hit too, but the risk is still there. If you dont want to look both ways before crossing then that is your thing.
